Exterior Design
The Subaru Forester is a compact SUV fitted with a square front fascia and matrix LED headlight units. It is equipped with LED daytime running lights, LED turn signals and horizontal LED taillights. Standard wheel configuration is 17-inch alloy wheels, with 18-inch and 19-inch wheels available for higher trims. Available exterior colors include Crystal White Pearl, Ice Silver Metallic, Magnetite Gray Metallic, Sepia Bronze and Sapphire Blue.
In terms of dimensions, the Subaru Forester measures 4,670 mm in length, 1,830 mm in width, 1,730 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,670 mm. The vehicle adopts a 5-door 5-seat layout. The rear seats support backrest angle adjustment and full flat folding to expand storage space. The minimum ground clearance reaches 220 mm.
Interior Design
The Subaru Forester is equipped with a 7-inch digital instrument cluster and an optional 11.6-inch vertical central touchscreen. Interior color schemes include Black, Dark Gray and Brown, matched with fabric, synthetic leather or Ultrasuede composite upholstery for different versions.
Standard configurations include front, side and curtain airbags, front and rear parking sensors, rearview camera, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control and keyless entry. Higher-spec versions add a 360-degree panoramic camera system, Subaru EyeSight Level 2 driver-assistance systems, active braking system, front and rear seat heating, panoramic sunroof and wireless charging modules.
Powertrain
The Subaru Forester provides two powertrain options. The 2.5L version is fitted with a horizontally opposed four-cylinder gasoline engine, matched with Lineartronic CVT with simulated 8-speed manual mode, delivering a maximum power output of 122 kW and peak torque of 252 Nm. The hybrid version adopts a 2.0L horizontally opposed four-cylinder hybrid powertrain paired with CVT transmission.
All models come standard with symmetrical full-time all-wheel drive and X-MODE off-road control system. The official top speed of the Subaru Forester is 192 km/h. Hybrid variants are equipped with dedicated lithium-ion battery packs with kinetic energy recovery function.
