Exterior Design
The Chery QQ Ice Cream adopts a unique “360° Smile” design language, integrating cuteness and practicality, which makes it a popular choice in the entry-level mini electric vehicle market. It features a rounded and lovely front fascia with a closed grille that looks plump and full, paired with U-shaped LED headlight groups like “big round eyes” and slightly upturned daytime running lights that resemble curved smiles, conveying a warm and lively vibe. The central LOGO is embedded in the middle of the grille, simple and elegant, and the front bumper is designed in a rounded “small apron” shape, adding a touch of playfulness. It is equipped with hidden rear door handles located in the small triangular area behind the windows, forming a “pseudo-two-door” design that balances beauty and practicality. The rear is equipped with a through-type LED taillight, which displays jumping heart-shaped light spots when braking, full of fun, paired with a small rear spoiler and a rounded rear bumper, enhancing its fashionable and lovely appearance. The body is available in multiple macaron-style color options: Taro Purple, Light Lotus Root Color, Coconut White, Hazelnut Brown, Caramel Mocha, and Oatmeal Hazelnut, catering to the personalized aesthetic preferences of different urban users, especially young female drivers.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 3,030 mm in length, 1,496 mm in width, and 1,637 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1,960 mm. The 1,960 mm wheelbase ensures a practical 3-door 4-seat interior space that meets daily commuting needs, and the front and rear interior headroom reaches a comfortable level for a mini electric vehicle. The rear seats feature a split-folding design, which not only increases flexibility for storage and seating but also expands the trunk space to meet the needs of daily shopping and short-distance travel, easily accommodating strollers, shopping bags and other items.
Interior Design
The Chery QQ Ice Cream features a simple and practical interior design, focusing on comfort and functionality. It is equipped with a digital instrument cluster (5-inch or 7-inch according to versions) and a 9-inch floating central touchscreen, supporting Bluetooth connection, mobile phone mapping, voice control and other functions, delivering a smooth operation experience. Interior color schemes include dual-tone options such as dark gray and light gray, caramel mocha and oat hazelnut, creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The cockpit adopts a minimalist design, covered with low-VOC Rhine-certified eco-friendly interior materials, including mother-and-baby grade antibacterial ecological fabric seats and refined plastic panels, ensuring fresh air inside the car. It is paired with a two-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel inlaid with the “QQ” brand logo, and some high-spec versions are equipped with multi-function buttons for convenient operation.
In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with 15-inch wheels, rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, keyless start system, central locking, and electric heating and cooling air conditioning, among other practical functions. The higher-spec version adds leather steering wheel, leather seats, soft light vanity mirror, 360° panoramic image, and intelligent APP remote control, as well as practical features such as wireless phone charging and up to 22 storage spaces inside the car, further enhancing driving comfort and convenience performance.
Powertrain
The Chery QQ Ice Cream is equipped with a rear-mounted single permanent magnet synchronous electric motor, with two power versions available: the 155km range version delivers a maximum power output of 20 kW (about 27 horsepower) and peak torque of 85 Nm, while the 205km and 220km range versions deliver a maximum power output of 30 kW (about 41 horsepower) and peak torque of 90 Nm. It is paired with a single-speed electric transmission, with an official top speed of 100 km/h. The Chery QQ Ice Cream comes standard with a lithium iron phosphate battery pack (13.98 kWh or 17.28 kWh according to versions), offering a CLTC-rated range of up to 220 km. It supports Eco and Sport driving modes, paired with an intelligent kinetic energy recovery system, further improving energy efficiency.
In fast-charging mode, it takes approximately 33 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%, and it supports slow charging which takes about 5 to 11 hours to fully charge. The battery is equipped with a low-temperature battery heating system and an intelligent heat preservation function, ensuring stable performance in extreme weather. With a comprehensive power consumption of about 9 to 9.3 kWh per 100 km, it is energy-efficient and cost-effective, making it suitable for daily urban commuting and short-distance outings.
