Exterior Design
The Li L9 adopts the brand’s flagship family-style design language, featuring a sleek and imposing front fascia with an active air intake grille that can open and close automatically according to working conditions, paired with a curved full-width LED star ring daytime running light with three-color adjustable function and ABB pixel headlights hidden under the smoked grille, which significantly enhance the vehicle’s recognition and sense of technology, especially at night. The front face abandons the prominent “Dolphin Nose” shape and adopts a slanting downward diving line, paired with a raised hood and shoulder line to strengthen the low-lying sense of power. The side of the body has smooth and sharp lines, with a waistline extending from the front wheel arch to the taillight, lengthening the visual length, complemented by semi-hidden electric door handles and 22-inch rims with Michelin PS5 tires, balancing aesthetics and low wind resistance. The rear is fitted with a sleek roof spoiler and a flat LED taillight that echoes the front star ring light, with a downward-curving light eyebrow and a hidden rear wiper, paired with a trapezoidal concave license plate frame and hidden exhaust, presenting a simple and high-end visual effect. The body is available in multiple color options, including customized two-tone colors processed by triple spray painting and seamless hand polishing, as well as conventional colors such as Crystal White, Silver Metallic and Phantom Black.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 5,395 mm in length, 1,998 mm in width, and 1,800 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,305 mm. As a 5-door 6-seat full-size flagship SUV tailored for large family travel, its interior space is fully optimized to balance comfort and practicality. The interior headroom and legroom for all three rows of seats are ample, with the third row headroom increased by about 15% due to the extended wheelbase, and the 2+2+2 seat layout with a central aisle facilitates easy access to the third row. The rear seats feature a flexible split-folding design, and the rear two rows of side windows and rear windshield are equipped with electrochromic glass that supports five-level transmittance adjustment. The trunk has a regular volume that can easily accommodate luggage, daily necessities and outdoor gear, meeting the needs of family travel and long-distance trips.
Interior Design
The Li L9 features a luxurious and comfortable interior design centered on family comfort and “embodied intelligence”, with a star ring surrounding cockpit layout and high-quality materials. It is equipped with an integrated ultra-wide panoramic screen that combines the main driver and co-pilot screens, supporting multi-zone intelligent display to realize the coexistence of driving information and co-pilot entertainment content on the same screen. The vehicle is equipped with an intelligent in-vehicle system powered by two self-developed 5nm Mahle 100 chips, with a total computing power of up to 2560TOPS, ensuring smooth operation and supporting full-car wake-up-free voice interaction. The interior is covered with a large area of Nappa leather and star ring wood trim, with a leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel, and the front seat headrests are equipped with speaker openings for directional playback of intelligent driving prompts. Interior color schemes include off-white and champagne gold, catering to family needs, and the seats adopt double-stitched three-dimensional rhombus pattern design with exclusive embroidered headrests; the two independent seats in the second row are equipped with dynamic zero-gravity function, with the backrest adjustable up to 182°, and the front and second-row seats are equipped with heating, ventilation and hot stone massage functions. In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with ABS, ESC, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree panoramic image, four laser radars, 800-megapixel high-definition camera matrix, dual-chamber air springs, and electronic power steering, among other practical functions. The higher-spec version adds a sliding rear entertainment screen, multi-zone air conditioning, and active noise cancellation, enhancing the overall comfort and convenience.
Powertrain
The Li L9 adopts an extended-range powertrain to eliminate range anxiety, equipped with a self-developed third-generation 1.5T four-cylinder range extender with a thermal efficiency of 42%, paired with a dual-motor four-wheel drive system. The range extender has a quiet start and idle speed, with a WLTC fuel consumption of 6.3 L/100 km in battery-depleted mode, while the combined maximum power of the front and rear dual motors ensures strong performance. The vehicle is equipped with a 72.7 kWh ternary lithium battery pack, offering a CLTC-rated pure electric range of 420 km for daily commuting and a comprehensive CLTC range of over 1500 km when fully fueled and charged. It supports 5C super fast charging mode to greatly shorten the energy supplement time, and also supports slow charging to meet different charging needs. The vehicle is equipped with the world’s first “complete” full-by-wire chassis, including by-wire steering, four-wheel steering and the world’s first fully electronic controlled mechanical braking (EMB), realizing multiple cross-safety redundancies between steering, braking and electric drive, with an intuitive response. Multiple driving modes including extended-range priority, pure electric priority, winter mode, mountain road mode and wet road mode are available, adapting to different driving scenarios.
