Exterior Design
The MG ONE adopts the brand’s third-generation family design language, featuring two distinct styling options (α and β versions) to cater to diverse aesthetic needs. The α version boasts a polygonal air intake grille decorated with radioactive lightning-like elements, paired with narrow and long blackened headlights, creating a strong visual impact. The β version adopts a borderless grille with a dot-matrix structure inside, exuding a more personalized temperament. Both versions share a sloping roofline that starts to tilt slightly from the B-pillar, forming a floating roof effect, and are equipped with 19-inch tomahawk-style alloy wheels, enhancing the sporty vibe significantly.
The smooth waistline rises slightly from front to rear, paired with black exterior rearview mirrors and C-pillars adorned with diamond patterns, further lowering the vehicle’s visual height. The rear is equipped with arrow-shaped blackened LED taillights that echo the sharp headlights, and a concave license plate holder adds a sense of layering. The lower rear bumper is designed in a diffuser shape with dual exhaust decorative covers on both sides, highlighting the sporty temperament. In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,579 mm in length, 1,866 mm in width, and 1,617 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,670 mm. The rear seats feature a 40/60 split-folding design, which improves seating and storage flexibility, meeting the needs of daily use and travel.
Interior Design
The MG ONE features a high-tech interior with a 30-inch triple-screen setup, delivering a premium and clear visual experience. The interior adopts a refined design with leather-wrapped steering wheel and seats, and the cabin is equipped with 256-color ambient lights, creating a comfortable and stylish riding atmosphere. The seats are made of high-quality imitation leather, fitting the human body curve perfectly and ensuring comfort even on long journeys. Interior color schemes are available in a variety of elegant options, catering to different personalized preferences of consumers.
In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with LED headlights, rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, cruise control, keyless entry and start, as well as essential safety features including ABS, EBD, and multiple airbags. The higher-spec version adds Level 2 driver-assistance systems, active braking, a 360-degree panoramic camera with transparent image function, and the advanced Zebra intelligent vehicle system, supporting voice recognition control, OTA upgrades, and AR live navigation, further enhancing driving safety and convenience.
Powertrain
The MG ONE is powered by a 1.5T turbocharged engine with a displacement of 1,490 mL, paired with a CVT transmission, delivering a maximum power output of 133 kW and peak torque of 285 Nm. It offers responsive acceleration and smooth power delivery, with an official top speed of 195 km/h, providing an enjoyable driving experience for both city commuting and highway travel.
In terms of fuel economy, the vehicle performs impressively, with an NEDC combined fuel consumption of only 6.3L/100km and a WLTC combined fuel consumption of 7.3L/100km, making it economical and practical.
