Exterior Design

The Buick GL8 Encasa PHEV adopts luxury MPV design language, equipped with a horizontal front grille and full LED headlight groups. The vehicle is fitted with LED taillight groups and aerodynamic rear bumper trim. It is available in multiple body color options, including solid and dual-tone body colors. The model supports 20-inch wheel configurations for different versions. Partial versions are equipped with lidar sensing modules.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 5260 mm in length, 2023 mm in width, and 1820 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3160 mm. The model adopts a 5-door 7-seater layout. The vehicle is fitted with electrically adjustable exterior mirrors, electric sliding doors and electric tailgate as standard.

Interior Design

The Buick GL8 Encasa PHEV is equipped with a full LCD digital instrument cluster and a 32-inch integrated ultra-long central touchscreen. Partial versions are equipped with independent rear entertainment screens. Interior color schemes include multiple neutral tones, matched with Nappa leather upholstery and metallic decorative trim. The vehicle supports multi-color ambient lighting and four-zone automatic constant temperature air conditioning.
In terms of configurations, the standard model is equipped with front, side and curtain airbags, front and rear parking sensors, rearview camera, and constant-speed cruise control. It comes with keyless entry, one-key start and mobile phone interconnection functions. The high-spec version is fitted with a 360-degree panoramic camera system, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist and active braking system. The vehicle supports wireless phone charging and intelligent cabin purification system.

Powertrain

The Buick GL8 Encasa PHEV is equipped with a 1.5T inline four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine and front and rear dual electric motors, matched with a 2-speed DHT transmission. The engine delivers a maximum power of 132 kW. The comprehensive system maximum power is 462 kW with a peak torque of 775 Nm. The vehicle adopts electric four-wheel drive layout, with an electronically limited top speed of 180 km/h.
The vehicle is equipped with a 40.9 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack. The CLTC pure electric cruising range is 224 km, and the CLTC comprehensive cruising range is 1320 km. It supports DC fast charging and AC slow charging functions. The model supports energy recovery and OTA upgrade functions.
