The IM LS8 is a mid-to-large-size SUV from IM Motors that began pre-sales on March 26, 2026, offering both five-seat and six-seat configurations. The vehicle measures 5,085 mm in length, 2,000 mm in width, and 1,807 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,060 mm. The new model is equipped with the Lingxi Digital Chassis 3.0 and comes standard with fully electric four-wheel steering and 24-degree rear-wheel steering, resulting in a turning radius of 4.85 meters.

Exterior Design

The IM LS8 is a mid-to-large new energy SUV equipped with LED headlight assemblies and LED taillight groups. The vehicle is fitted with 20-inch wheel rims for different versions. Hidden door handles are equipped as standard. The available exterior body colors include White, Black, Silver, Blue and Gray.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 5085 mm in length, 1995 mm in width, and 1810 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3060 mm. It adopts a 5-door 5-seat and 5-door 6-seat layout for different versions. The rear seats support folding adjustment to expand rear cargo space.

Interior Design

The IM LS8 is fitted with a full LCD instrument panel and integrated central control touch screen. The interior is equipped with leather seats and a multi-function steering wheel. Partial versions support front seat electric adjustment, heating, ventilation and massage functions, as well as wireless phone charging function and panoramic sunroof.
In terms of configurations, the standard model comes with front and rear parking sensors, rearview camera, cruise control, front airbags, side airbags and automatic air conditioning. Higher-spec models are equipped with 360-degree panoramic imaging system and active braking system.

Powertrain

The IM LS8 adopts a range-extender powertrain system, equipped with a 1.5T turbocharged engine and electric motor. The vehicle provides rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive versions. The rear-wheel drive motor delivers a maximum power of 230 kW and a peak torque of 430 Nm. The four-wheel drive dual-motor version has a comprehensive system maximum power of 390 kW.
The vehicle is equipped with 52 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery packs and 66 kWh ternary lithium battery packs for different versions. The CLTC pure electric cruising ranges are 355 km and 430 km, and the CLTC comprehensive cruising ranges are 1573 km and 1605 km correspondingly. It supports fast charging and slow charging functions. The vehicle adopts front double wishbone independent suspension and rear five-link independent suspension.
