The Qin PLUS DM is a plug-in hybrid compact sedan in BYD’s Dynasty series, positioned as the “leader in the A-segment” and a “disruptor of gasoline-powered sedans.” The vehicle is equipped with a 1.5L engine and an electric drive system, achieving a combined fuel consumption as low as 2.90 L/100 km.

Exterior Design

The BYD Qin Plus DM is a compact plug-in hybrid sedan, equipped with a polygonal front grille and full LED headlight groups. The vehicle is fitted with through-type LED taillight groups and rear bumper trim. Multiple body color options are available. The vehicle adopts 17-inch wheel configurations. Conventional door handles are equipped as standard. A panoramic sunroof is equipped as standard.
The vehicle adopts a 4-door 5-seater layout. The body dimensions are 4780 mm in length, 1837 mm in width and 1515 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2718 mm. Electrically adjustable exterior mirrors are standard configurations.

Interior Design

The vehicle is equipped with a full LCD digital instrument cluster and a rotatable central touchscreen. Multiple interior color schemes are available, matched with fabric and leather upholstery and metallic decorative trim. The vehicle supports multi-color ambient lighting and dual-zone automatic constant temperature air conditioning. An electronic gear shift lever is equipped as standard.
Standard configurations include front, side and curtain airbags, front and rear parking sensors, rearview camera and constant-speed cruise control. Keyless entry and one-key start functions are standard. High-spec versions are equipped with 360-degree panoramic camera system, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist and active braking system. The vehicle supports external vehicle discharge and OTA upgrade functions.

Powertrain

The BYD Qin Plus DM adopts front-wheel drive layout, equipped with a 1.5L inline four-cylinder naturally aspirated gasoline engine and permanent magnet synchronous electric motor, matched with E-CVT transmission. The engine delivers a maximum power of 74 kW and a peak torque of 126 Nm. The electric motor has a maximum power of 120 kW and a peak torque of 210 Nm.
The vehicle is equipped with plug-in hybrid dedicated blade lithium iron phosphate battery packs. The NEDC pure electric cruising range covers 55 km and 120 km for different versions, with a comprehensive cruising range up to 1200 km. The vehicle supports AC slow charging function. The vehicle is equipped with energy recovery system and multi-link independent suspension system.
