The Leapmotor D99 is Leapmotor’s first MPV model (the second model on the D platform), launched on December 28, 2025, and built on the D platform. The vehicle measures 5,280 mm in length, 1,995 mm in width, and 1,900/1,880 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,110 mm. It is available with either a panoramic sunroof or a standard sunroof, and comes in both range-extended and all-electric powertrain options: the range-extended version features an 80.3 kWh battery and an 800V high-voltage platform, offering an all-electric range exceeding 500 kilometers; the all-electric version is equipped with a 115 kWh battery pack and a full-stack 1,000V powertrain system, supporting a 350-kilometer range with just 15 minutes of charging.

Exterior Design

The Leapmotor D99 adopts a streamlined body layout with a split headlight design and DLP pixel headlights. It is equipped with active air intake grille and hidden door handles, paired with through-type rear taillights. The vehicle is available in five exterior color options: Cloud Gold, Star River Silver, Photoelectric White, Metallic Black and Sky Gray.

In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4925 mm in length, 1905 mm in width, and 1770 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2825 mm. It adopts a 5-door 7-seat body structure. The minimum ground clearance of the vehicle is 200 mm. The rear trunk supports expanded storage space through seat folding.

Interior Design

The Leapmotor D99 is equipped with an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, a 17.3-inch floating central control touchscreen and a 17.3-inch rear entertainment screen, matched with a 60-inch AR-HUD head-up display system. Interior color schemes include Star Purple and Sand Brown. The interior is equipped with silicone leather or Nappa leather upholstery.

In terms of configuration, the standard model comes with front side airbags, rear parking sensors, rearview camera and cruise control. The higher-spec versions are equipped with Level 2 driver-assistance systems, active braking, 360-degree panoramic camera system and 3.3 kW external power output function, along with 23-speaker audio system.

Powertrain

The Leapmotor D99 provides extended-range and pure electric powertrain versions. The extended-range model is equipped with a 1.5L range extender and a single rear-mounted electric motor with a maximum power of 200 kW and a peak torque of 360 Nm. The pure electric dual-motor four-wheel drive version has a comprehensive maximum power of 410 kW.

The extended-range model is equipped with an 80.3 kWh CATL lithium iron phosphate battery pack with a CLTC pure electric range of 480 km. The pure electric version has a CLTC comprehensive range of 700 km. The vehicle supports 800V high-voltage fast charging, with a charging time of approximately 16 minutes from 30% to 80% battery level.
