The Hyptec SSR, launched in October 2023 by GAC Aion’s Hyptec brand, is China’s first mass-produced all-electric supercar. On October 12, 2023, the first units were officially delivered via China’s first supercar production line, which incorporates aerospace-grade precision manufacturing technology. Its innovative technologies include a lightweight full-carbon-fiber body, long-fiber carbon-ceramic brake discs, and a proprietary three-electric system.

Exterior Design

The Hyptec SSR is a two-door two-seater pure electric supercar, equipped with matrix LED headlight groups. The vehicle is fitted with LED taillight groups and active rear spoiler. Multiple body color options are available. The vehicle adopts multi-spoke wheel configurations for different versions. Hidden door handles and butterfly doors are equipped as standard. The vehicle is equipped with full carbon fiber body panels.
The vehicle adopts a 2-door 2-seater supercar layout. The body dimensions are 4556 mm in length, 1988 mm in width and 1230 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2650 mm. Electrically adjustable exterior mirrors with automatic folding functions are equipped as standard. An electric charging port cover is equipped as standard.

Interior Design

The vehicle is equipped with a full LCD digital instrument cluster and central control touchscreen. Multiple interior color schemes are available, matched with leather upholstery and metallic decorative trim. The vehicle supports automatic constant temperature air conditioning. An electronic gear shift lever is equipped as standard.
Standard configurations include front airbags, tire pressure monitoring system, ABS and electronic stability control system. Keyless entry and one-key start functions are standard. The vehicle supports vehicle network connection and OTA upgrade functions. Partial versions are equipped with customized interior decoration and multi-speaker audio system.

Powertrain

The Hyptec SSR adopts four-wheel drive layout, matched with two-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle is equipped with front and rear three permanent magnet synchronous motors. The comprehensive maximum power of the motor system is 900 kW, with a comprehensive peak torque of 1230 Nm. The vehicle is equipped with 900V high-voltage silicon carbide electric drive system.
The vehicle is equipped with high-performance ternary lithium battery packs. The vehicle supports DC fast charging and AC slow charging functions. The vehicle is equipped with energy recovery system and battery constant temperature management system. The vehicle adopts front and rear double wishbone independent suspension system. Carbon ceramic brake discs are equipped as standard.
