The Changan Lantuo is Changan Automobile’s first Blue Whale-powered pickup truck. Pre-orders began on November 10, 2022, and the vehicle was officially launched on December 22, 2022. The entire lineup comes standard with a 2.0T engine, offering a total of 14 models across gasoline and diesel variants.

Exterior Design

The Changan Lantuozhe is a mid-size gasoline pickup truck, equipped with a polygonal front grille and full LED headlight groups. The vehicle is fitted with vertical LED taillight groups and practical rear bumper trim. Multiple body color options are available. The vehicle adopts 17-inch wheel configurations for different versions. Conventional door handles are equipped as standard.
The vehicle provides single-row and double-row cabin layouts with standard and extended cargo box specifications. The body dimensions vary according to different versions, with lengths of 5350 mm and 5600 mm, widths of 1930 mm and 1980 mm, heights of 1865 mm and 1875 mm, and wheelbases of 3180 mm and 3430 mm. Electrically adjustable exterior mirrors are standard configurations.

Interior Design

The vehicle is equipped with a full LCD digital instrument cluster and central control touchscreen. Multiple interior color schemes are available, matched with fabric and leather upholstery and metallic decorative trim. The vehicle supports multi-color ambient lighting and automatic constant temperature air conditioning. An electronic gear shift lever is equipped as standard.
Standard configurations include front airbags, front and rear parking sensors, rearview camera and constant-speed cruise control. Keyless entry and one-key start functions are standard. High-spec versions are equipped with 360-degree panoramic camera system, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist and active braking system. The vehicle supports wireless phone charging and OTA upgrade functions.

Powertrain

The Changan Lantuozhe adopts rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive layouts, matched with 6-speed manual transmission and 8-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle is equipped with a 2.0T inline four-cylinder turbocharged longitudinal gasoline engine with a maximum power of 171 kW and a peak torque of 390 Nm.
The vehicle is fueled with gasoline and meets China VI emission standards. The vehicle adopts front double wishbone independent suspension and rear integral bridge non-independent suspension system. Partial versions are equipped with timely four-wheel drive system, central differential lock and rear axle differential lock functions.
