Exterior Design

The Chery Omoda 5 adopts the brand’s cutting-edge “Art in Motion” design language, consistent with other Omoda models, featuring a bold and avant-garde front fascia with a borderless matrix grille inlaid with diamond-like chrome decorations, distinctive split full-LED headlights, and slender daytime running lights connected by chrome strips to form a through-type visual effect. The rear is equipped with a high-mounted double-layer progressive spoiler and marked with the English “OMODA” logo, paired with split smoked taillights that echo the front headlights, enhancing its sporty appearance. The body is available in three color options: Lavender Gray, Crystal White, and Dynamic Red, catering to the personalized aesthetic preferences of young consumer groups.

In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,400 mm in length, 1,830 mm in width, and 1,588 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,630 mm. The 2,630 mm wheelbase creates a spacious interior space, with the front and rear interior headroom reaching a comfortable level, providing a relaxed riding experience for both front and rear passengers. The rear seats feature a 40/60 split-folding design, which not only increases flexibility for storage and seating but also easily expands the trunk space to meet the needs of daily storage and short-distance travel.

Interior Design

The Chery Omoda 5 is equipped with a 24.6-inch integrated dual-screen (digital instrument cluster + central touchscreen), delivering an outstanding visual experience and seamless operation. Interior color schemes include Starry Black, Gray & White, and Sporty Red, paired with a customizable 12-constellation crystal shift lever, catering to personalized preferences. The cockpit is covered with high-quality soft-packaged materials and metal brushed panels, paired with 64-color rhythmic ambient lights, creating a high-end and technological cockpit environment.

In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels, front side airbags, rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, cruise control, and a 540° transparent chassis, among other practical functions. The higher-spec PRO version adds Level 2 driver-assistance systems and active braking (AEB), as well as practical features such as steering wheel heating, central control wireless charging, and a Sony premium sound system, further enhancing driving comfort and safety performance.

Powertrain

The Chery Omoda 5 offers two powertrain options to meet different consumer needs: it is available with a front-mounted 1.5T turbocharged engine and a 1.6T turbocharged engine. The 1.5T engine delivers a maximum power output of 115 kW (156 horsepower) and peak torque of 230 Nm, paired with a CVT continuously variable transmission (simulating 9 gears). The 1.6T engine delivers a maximum power output of 145 kW (197 horsepower) and peak torque of 290 Nm, paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission.

The WLTC comprehensive fuel consumption of the Chery Omoda 5 ranges from 7.3 L to 7.6 L per 100 km, and it supports 92-octane gasoline, which is fuel-efficient and cost-effective. The 0-100km/h acceleration time of the 1.6T version is about 7.8 seconds, with strong power reserves for high-speed overtaking and climbing, bringing a dynamic driving experience.
