Exterior Design
The Tank 500 Hi4-T inherits Tank’s iconic tough off-road design language and integrates Oriental aesthetic elements, featuring a robust and majestic square body shape with smooth and powerful lines, creating a perfect balance between hard-core off-road temperament and luxurious texture. It is equipped with a newly designed “Juzhe Grille” decorated with layered chrome strips inspired by ancient Chinese architectural eaves, paired with a three-dimensional “TANK” logo in the center, which is highly recognizable. The integrated square LED headlights with sharp light groups provide precise and bright lighting at night, while the front bumper is made of high-strength material integrated with a black protective plate, effectively increasing the approach angle to 30° and enhancing passability on complex terrain. Paired with wide-body wheel arches, silver roof racks, side steps, and 19-inch multi-spoke aluminum alloy wheels matched with all-terrain tires, it highlights its luxurious and tough off-road temperament. The rear is equipped with a simple and elegant floating spoiler that optimizes aerodynamic performance, paired with a side-opening tailgate and an externally mounted full-size spare tire with chrome decorations, and vertical two-section LED taillights that echo the front design, further enhancing its hard-core off-road identity. The body is available in three color options: Dunhuang Green, Phantom Black, and Pearl White, and also offers a black warrior version with a full black exterior kit, all of which are high-grade tones that highlight its full-scenario intelligent luxury off-road SUV style.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 5078 mm in length, 1934 mm in width, and 1905 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2850 mm, providing a solid foundation for spacious interior space. The interior space is luxurious and comfortable, with ample legroom and headroom for both front and rear passengers, perfectly meeting the travel needs of high-end off-road enthusiasts and families. The rear seats feature a 40/60 split-folding design, which can be fully flattened to expand the cargo space to 1489L, making it convenient for carrying off-road equipment or large items. It is also equipped with roof lidar and side-view cameras integrated in the fender trims, further enhancing its intelligent and tough off-road appearance, with a minimum ground clearance of 213 mm to adapt to various complex off-road road conditions.
Interior Design
The Tank 500 Hi4-T is equipped with a 12.3-inch full-color digital instrument cluster, a 15.6-inch 2.5K ultra-thin floating central touchscreen, a HUD head-up display, and a streaming media rearview mirror, forming a multi-screen intelligent interactive space that perfectly integrates luxurious texture with modern technology and delivers an excellent visual and interactive experience. It is paired with the CoffeeOS intelligent cockpit platform and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, supporting continuous voice commands and multi-scenario mode switching, with fast response and clear logic. Interior color schemes include luxurious and elegant combinations, with a large area of high-quality Nappa leather wrapping the seats and door panels, supplemented by wood grain decorative panels and metal trim, neutralizing the cold sense of technology and creating a comfortable, high-end and personalized in-car atmosphere that caters to the personalized preferences of high-end users. The black warrior version features a unique “black armor and red charm” design, with customized dark red Nappa leather seats with diamond quilting, creating a strong visual contrast with the all-black ceiling. In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels, multiple airbags, front and rear parking sensors, a 540° panoramic camera system with transparent chassis, cruise control, a 5.4L on-board cooling and heating refrigerator, 17.3-inch 3K ceiling-mounted entertainment screen, and front and rear 60W USB/Type-C charging ports, among other practical and luxurious functions. The higher-spec premium version adds advanced driver-assistance systems, infrared night vision system, and practical features such as 6kW external power output and heated/ventilated front and rear seats with massage function.
Powertrain
The Tank 500 Hi4-T is equipped with a Hi4-T plug-in hybrid system that combines a 2.0T turbocharged engine with a P2 electric motor, retaining a mechanical drive shaft to ensure stable and reliable off-road performance, meeting the dual needs of daily commuting and off-road adventures. The 2.0T engine delivers a maximum net power of 180 kW and a peak torque of 385 N·m, while the electric motor delivers a maximum power of 130 kW and a peak torque of 495 N·m, achieving a comprehensive maximum power of 310 kW and a comprehensive peak torque of 750 N·m. It is paired with a self-developed 9HAT hybrid-specific automatic transmission, with an official top speed of 180 km/h and an official 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 6.9 seconds. The vehicle is equipped with a 37.1 kWh ternary lithium battery pack from Honeycomb Energy, providing a WLTC-rated pure electric range of 110 km and a comprehensive range of 900 km, with a comprehensive fuel consumption of 2.06 L per 100 km in hybrid mode. In fast-charging mode, it takes approximately 16 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%, and it also comes standard with a 6kW VTOL mobile power station function, ensuring convenient daily use and long-distance off-road travel needs.
