The Exeed TX adopts Exeed’s minimalist “Simplify to the Essence” design philosophy, featuring a bold and wide honeycomb grille with horizontal chrome accents that span the entire front fascia, connecting seamlessly with the full LED intelligent headlights to create a striking visual presence. The side profile showcases dynamic double waistlines with wave-like lines, enhancing the sporty aura, while the rear features a through-type LED taillight group and a sleek high-mounted spoiler, complemented by a hidden exhaust layout for a refined look.
Available in premium colors including Starry Purple, Nebula White, and Galaxy Black, the TX caters to diverse aesthetic preferences. In terms of dimensions, the standard TX measures 4,690 mm in length, 1,885 mm in width, and 1,706 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,715 mm, positioning it as a mid-size SUV with spacious interior accommodations. The TX is equipped with 19-inch alloy wheels (18-inch for base trims) fitted with premium Continental UltraContact UC6 tires, ensuring excellent road grip and ride quality. The 4WD variant further enhances practicality with approach and departure angles of 21° and 22°, respectively, improving off-road capability.
Interior Design
The cabin of the Exeed TX features a futuristic dual-screen setup, pairing a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument cluster with a 12.3-inch floating central touchscreen, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip and the Lion OS, delivering seamless 5G connectivity, wireless CarPlay, and fast voice recognition with a response time under 1 second. The interior color schemes include classic black, navy blue, and a two-tone black-and-beige option, all upholstered in high-quality leather with soft-touch materials and wood-grain decorative panels, elevating the premium ambiance.
Standard features across trims include a 3-spoke leather multifunction steering wheel, 64-color ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, and keyless entry/start. Higher-spec variants add heated and ventilated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a 540° panoramic camera system, and a premium Sony audio system with 8 speakers, enhancing comfort, safety, and entertainment experiences. The rear seats feature a 40/60 split-folding design, expanding cargo capacity from 461L to 970L for versatile storage needs.
Powertrain
The Exeed TX is powered by Chery’s award-winning 1.6TGDI turbocharged direct-injection four-cylinder engine, delivering a maximum power output of 145 kW (197 hp) and peak torque of 290 N·m, paired with a Getrag 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission (7DCT) for smooth and efficient power delivery. The 4WD variant is equipped with BorgWarner’s intelligent all-wheel-drive system, which can switch between 2WD and 4WD in just 0.07 seconds, optimizing traction and stability across varying road conditions.
Performance-wise, the TX achieves a 0–100 km/h acceleration in approximately 8.8 seconds and an official top speed of 200 km/h, with a combined fuel consumption of 6.9–7.8 L/100 km under WLTC conditions. The vehicle rides on a MacPherson independent front suspension and multi-link independent rear suspension, co-developed with Benteler, ensuring agile handling and a comfortable ride for daily commutes and long journeys. Safety is reinforced by Bosch ESP 9.3, front dual-piston brake calipers, and a comprehensive suite of ADAS features including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and automatic emergency braking.
