The Modern in adopts a fashionable and minimalist design language that combines urban elegance with practical functionality, featuring a sleek front fascia with a blackened horizontal grille, distinctive integrated LED headlights with sharp daytime running lights, and stylish through-type LED taillights that present a bright and layered visual effect. The rear is equipped with a compact sporty rear spoiler, which not only enhances the overall sense of fashion but also optimizes aerodynamic performance. The vehicle comes standard with 17-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels with 205/55 R17 tires, while the higher-spec version is equipped with 18-inch multi-spoke wheels paired with 225/50 R18 tires. The body is available in multiple color options, including Crystal White, Deep Blue, Carbon Gray, Silver Metallic, and Ruby Red.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,473 mm in length, 1,822 mm in width, and 1,550 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,710 mm. Its smooth body lines and well-proportioned posture create a concise and dynamic appearance, perfectly balancing fashion and daily practicality. The rear seats feature a 40/60 split-folding design, which not only increases flexibility for storage and seating but also expands the trunk space from 407L to 1160L, easily accommodating daily necessities, luggage and travel items.
Interior Design
The Modern in is equipped with a 9-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch floating central touchscreen, forming a dual-screen linkage design that delivers a concise and high-tech visual experience and smooth operation supported by an intelligent car system with OTA remote upgrade function. Interior color schemes include Black, Black and Beige, and Gray, paired with soft plastic materials and decorative panels on the center console and door panels, catering to personalized preferences and enhancing the comfortable and refined texture.
In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with a leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel, leather seats, automatic air conditioning, keyless entry and start, rear parking sensors, and a rearview camera, among other practical functions. The higher-spec version adds a 360-degree panoramic camera, front seat heating, electric adjustable main driver’s seat, and a multi-speaker audio system, as well as practical features such as electronic gear lever and V2L external power output function.
Powertrain
The Modern in is a pure electric vehicle that comes with two battery options to meet different needs. It is equipped with a front-mounted single permanent magnet synchronous motor, delivering a maximum power output of 120 kW (163 horsepower) and peak torque of 280 Nm. It is paired with a single-speed fixed-ratio electric transmission, with smooth power output and an official top speed of 160 km/h.
The vehicle is equipped with ternary lithium battery packs of 53 kWh and 80 kWh, corresponding to an NEDC-rated range of 420 km and 610 km respectively. In fast-charging mode, it takes approximately 0.5 hours to charge from 20% to 80%. The 53 kWh version has a comprehensive power consumption of 13.9 kWh/100km, while the 80 kWh version has 14.4 kWh/100km, which perfectly balances power performance and energy efficiency for daily commuting and cross-city travel.
