Exterior Design
The Tesla Model X adopts Tesla’s iconic minimalist design language, featuring a sleek and aerodynamic front fascia without a traditional grille, paired with sharp LED headlight clusters integrated with adaptive high-low beam function and distinctive daytime running lights, as well as a full-width LED taillight strip at the rear that enhances its recognition. The rear is equipped with a subtle rear spoiler that not only optimizes aerodynamic performance but also adds a sporty touch to its overall appearance. The body is available in multiple color options, including Stealth Grey, Flame Red, and Pearl White, catering to diverse personalized preferences.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 5,037 mm in length, 2,070 mm in width, and 1,684 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,965 mm. Its most distinctive feature is the rear falcon-wing doors, which open upwards and can automatically adjust the opening angle with the help of body distance sensors, solving the problem of door opening in narrow spaces and enhancing the sense of ritual and convenience for getting on and off the vehicle. The vehicle has a ultra-low drag coefficient of 0.24 Cd, achieved through detailed optimizations such as hidden electric door handles and frameless doors, reducing energy consumption and driving noise. The rear seats feature a flexible folding design, which not only improves the flexibility of storage and seating but also provides ample space for luggage and large items.
Interior Design
The Tesla Model X is equipped with a digital instrument cluster and a 17.4-inch floating central touchscreen, paired with a 9.4-inch second-row touchscreen, creating a multi-screen interactive experience that delivers an outstanding visual and operational experience. Interior color schemes include All Black, Black & White, and Black & Beige, meeting different personalized needs of users. In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with 20-inch wheels, multiple airbags, rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, and Autopilot, among other practical and safe functions.
The higher-spec Plaid version adds more advanced configurations, including a tri-motor drive system, enhanced driver-assistance functions, and a 360-degree camera system, as well as practical features such as high-power external power output. The interior is equipped with supportive ventilated front seats and heated seats throughout the cabin, paired with tri-zone climate controls and HEPA filtration to create a comfortable cabin atmosphere. It also features a 22-speaker, 960-watt audio system with sound insulation, providing studio-grade sound quality. The flexible seating layout of 5, 6, or 7 seats can be adapted to both family and business scenarios, and the front and rear trunks provide ample storage space.
Powertrain
The Tesla Model X is available in two powertrain versions: the dual-motor all-wheel drive version and the tri-motor all-wheel drive Plaid version. The dual-motor version is equipped with front and rear electric motors with a combined maximum power output of 442 kW and peak torque of 710 Nm, paired with a single-speed fixed-gear transmission, with an official top speed of 249 km/h. The Plaid version delivers a maximum power output of 890 kW and peak torque of 1,300 Nm, accelerating from 0 to 96 km/h in just 2.5 seconds and reaching a top speed of 262 km/h.
The Tesla Model X comes standard with a high-voltage liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery pack, offering an EPA-rated range of up to 352 miles (566 km) for the dual-motor version. In fast-charging mode with a maximum power of 250 kW, it takes approximately 15 minutes to charge from 10% to 80%, effectively reducing charging time and improving travel convenience.
