The Tank 400 Hi4-T inherits Tank’s iconic tough off-road design language and adopts a unique mecha-style design with urban functional aesthetics, featuring a robust square body shape crafted with multi-dimensional geometric edges and lines, creating a strong sense of mechanical power and futuristic temperament. It is equipped with a large-area hollow grille with two thick chrome trim strips running through the headlights, enhancing the visual width, and a central three-dimensional “TANK” logo, which is highly recognizable. The sharp LED headlights with integrated daytime running lights provide precise and bright lighting at night, while the front bumper is integrated with a black protective plate, effectively increasing the approach angle to 32° and enhancing passability on complex terrain. Paired with protruding wheel arches with exposed rivets, black roof racks, side steps, and 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels matched with all-terrain tires, it highlights its pure and tough off-road temperament. The rear is equipped with a simple and sturdy rear spoiler that optimizes aerodynamic performance, and the externally mounted full-size spare tire with a square cover integrates with the body, paired with vertical three-dimensional bar-shaped taillights for high visibility warning at night. The body is available in three color options: Dunhuang Purple, Nebula Gray, and Phantom Black, all of which are cool and advanced tones that highlight its high-performance hard-core off-road SUV style.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,985 mm in length, 2,055 mm in width, and 1,975 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,850 mm. The interior space is spacious and practical, with ample legroom and headroom for both front and rear passengers, perfectly meeting the travel needs of off-road enthusiasts and families. The rear seats feature a 40/60 split-folding design, which can be fully flattened to expand the cargo space to 1750L, making it convenient for carrying off-road equipment or large items. It is also equipped with roof lidar and side-view cameras integrated in the fender trims, further enhancing its intelligent and tough off-road appearance, with a minimum ground clearance that adapts to various complex off-road road conditions.
Interior Design
The Tank 400 Hi4-T is equipped with a 12.3-inch full-color digital instrument cluster, a 16.2-inch floating central touchscreen, a HUD head-up display, and a streaming media rearview mirror, forming a four-screen intelligent space that perfectly integrates mecha-style tough texture with modern technology and delivers an excellent visual and interactive experience. It is paired with the CoffeeOS exclusive iterable cockpit platform, which continuously upgrades functions to bring a more convenient user experience. Interior color schemes include tough and luxurious combinations, with high-quality Nappa leather wrapping the seats and door panels, and wood grain decorative panels on the center console, neutralizing the cold sense of technology and creating a comfortable and high-end in-car atmosphere that caters to the personalized preferences of off-road enthusiasts. In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels, multiple airbags, front and rear parking sensors, a 360° panoramic camera system, cruise control, dual 50W wireless charging, and a PM2.5 efficient filtration system, among other practical functions. The higher-spec premium version adds Level 2 driver-assistance systems, TOD+Mlock intelligent four-wheel drive system with 12 driving modes, and practical features such as 6kW external power output and heated/ventilated front seats with massage function.
Powertrain
The Tank 400 Hi4-T is equipped with a Hi4-T plug-in hybrid system that combines a 2.0T turbocharged engine with a front-mounted single permanent magnet synchronous electric motor, retaining a mechanical drive shaft to ensure stable and reliable off-road performance, meeting the dual needs of daily commuting and off-road adventures. The 2.0T engine delivers a maximum net power of 185 kW and a peak torque of 380 N·m, while the electric motor delivers a maximum power of 120 kW, achieving a comprehensive maximum power of 310 kW and a comprehensive peak torque of 750 N·m. It is paired with a 9HAT hybrid-specific automatic transmission, with an official top speed of 180 km/h. The vehicle is equipped with a 37.1 kWh ternary lithium battery pack, providing a WLTC-rated pure electric range of 105 km and a low comprehensive fuel consumption of 2.61 L per 100 km in hybrid mode. In fast-charging mode, it takes approximately 16 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%, ensuring convenient daily use and long-distance off-road travel needs.
