Exterior Design

The Leapmotor C01 adopts the brand’s “Simplicity Design” concept, featuring a sleek and elegant front fascia with a closed active air intake grille, paired with a full-width LED daytime running light strip and 48 crystal matrix LED headlights, which enhance the vehicle’s recognition and sense of technology with various light modes. A small air intake grille at the bottom of the front fascia meets heat dissipation needs while maintaining the overall minimalist texture, and high-spec models are equipped with multiple high-precision perception hardware integrated around the front, ensuring intelligent driving detection capability without damaging the aerodynamic shape. The side of the body boasts a smooth fastback silhouette extending from the low front to the rear, complemented by frameless doors and flush electric door handles, which not only add a sense of ceremony but also reduce the drag coefficient to an impressive 0.226Cd. The rear is fitted with a sleek ducktail spoiler and a full-width LED taillight that echoes the front daytime running light, paired with a simple rear diffuser decoration, presenting an elegant and dynamic visual effect. The body is available in three color options: Crystal White, Deep Sea Blue, and Phantom Black.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 5,050 mm in length, 1,902 mm in width, and 1,509 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,930 mm. As a 4-door 5-seat mid-to-large sedan, its interior space is fully optimized with the CTC (Cell to Chassis) battery-chassis integration technology, which increases vertical space and reduces overall vehicle weight. The interior headroom and legroom for both front and rear seats are ample; the rear legroom can reach up to three fists, and the nearly flat rear floor design ensures a comfortable seating experience for the middle passenger. The rear seats feature a 40/60 split-folding design; the trunk has a regular volume of 465L, which can easily accommodate luggage and daily necessities, greatly enhancing storage and seating flexibility.

Interior Design

The Leapmotor C01 features a simple and premium interior design adhering to the “Simple and Comfortable” concept, with a driver-centered layout and a striking floating matrix three-screen design. It is equipped with a full LCD instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch 2.5K high-definition floating central touchscreen, paired with a minimalist dual-spoke steering wheel that enhances the overall technological sense. The vehicle is equipped with the Leapmotor OS system powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip, ensuring smooth operation and supporting gesture control, continuous voice dialogue and multi-dialect understanding. The interior is covered with a large area of high-quality soft materials and suede roof, matched with exquisite stitching craftsmanship to enhance the overall texture. Interior color schemes include Black, Beige, and Black-Brown Two-tone, and high-spec models adopt Nappa leather seats that are skin-friendly and comfortable, supporting heating, ventilation and massage functions. In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels, ABS, ESC, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree panoramic image, and electronic power steering, among other practical functions. The higher-spec version adds 20-inch sporty alloy wheels, 1600W color-changing ambient lighting, a 12-speaker sound system with Arkamys professional tuning, as well as advanced features such as Level 2 driver-assistance systems and emergency braking.

Powertrain

The Leapmotor C01 offers multiple pure electric powertrain options to meet different user needs for power and range. It is available with rear-mounted single permanent magnet synchronous motor and dual-motor four-wheel drive configurations. The single-motor version delivers a maximum power output of 160 kW to 200 kW and peak torque of 330 Nm to 360 Nm, while the dual-motor four-wheel drive high-performance version has a combined maximum power output of 400 kW and peak torque of 720 Nm, with an official 0-100 km/h acceleration time of as fast as 3.66 seconds. All versions are paired with a single-speed electric transmission. The vehicle is equipped with lithium iron phosphate battery packs in different capacities, offering CLTC-rated ranges of 500 km, 606 km, 630 km and 717 km respectively. In fast-charging mode, it takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%. It comes standard with the self-developed full-time AI BMS intelligent battery management system and heat pump air conditioner, ensuring battery safety, longevity and energy efficiency in different driving scenarios.
