Along the body, the JMEV EV2 features a unique crescent arc suspended roof with a double-arch innovative shape, which not only enhances the visual sense of hierarchy but also effectively reduces wind resistance, realizing the perfect combination of practicality and classic aesthetics. The smooth body lines and simple surface design create a clean and neat look, while the 5-door 4-seat hatchback body style greatly improves practicality, allowing the elderly and children to get on and off easily. The rear end has a concise design, and the 100° wide-opening tailgate facilitates the access of items, which is very user-friendly. The body is available in multiple color options including Evening Mist Blue, Future Green, Sky Blue and Moonlight White, catering to different aesthetic preferences of urban users.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 3,500 mm in length, 1,646 mm in width, and 1,460 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,340 mm, which is leading in its class. This compact dimension configuration not only makes it easy to drive and park in narrow urban streets but also provides sufficient interior space for four passengers. The rear seats can be folded down to expand the cargo space, and with 14 flexible storage spaces inside the vehicle, it can easily meet the diverse storage needs of daily commuting and short trips, with a standard trunk volume of 105 liters.
Interior Design
The JMEV EV2 features a simple and practical interior design, with a reasonably arranged center console that is convenient to operate and focuses on daily usability. It is equipped with a concise and high-definition digital instrument panel, which has a simplified interactive interface, allowing the driver to grasp vehicle information clearly and quickly. The top-of-the-line PLUS+ Luxury version is equipped with a 9-inch central control screen that supports Bluetooth connection, facilitating music playback and making calls, bringing more convenience to daily travel.
The interior is equipped with practical fabric seats in light blue, which are dirt-resistant and easy to clean, providing a comfortable riding experience. The vehicle is equipped with manual air conditioning as standard, with good cooling and heating effects, ensuring a comfortable riding environment for front and rear passengers. It also comes with practical configurations such as driver’s airbag, rear parking sensors, central locking, and ABS+EBD as standard, ensuring driving safety. The top-of-the-line model is also equipped with a rearview camera, which further improves the convenience and safety of parking. In addition, the vehicle is equipped with a rotary shift mechanism, which is easy to operate and fits the daily use habits of users.
Powertrain
The JMEV EV2 offers multiple powertrain options to suit different usage scenarios, all adopting a front-motor front-wheel-drive layout and permanent magnet synchronous motors. The motor power ranges from 26 kW to 30 kW: the base PLUS Comfort version delivers 26 kW of maximum power and 84 Nm of peak torque, while the PLUS+ Comfort and PLUS+ Luxury versions are equipped with more powerful motors that output 30 kW of maximum power and 85 Nm of peak torque. All models are paired with a single-speed electric transmission, with an official top speed of 100 km/h, which is fully suitable for urban commuting and short-distance travel.
In terms of battery and range, the JMEV EV2 is equipped with LFP battery packs with different capacities: the PLUS Comfort version has a 15.86 kWh battery, while the PLUS+ Comfort and PLUS+ Luxury versions are equipped with a 15.88 kWh battery. All models have a CLTC-rated range of 201 km, which can easily meet the needs of daily urban travel and eliminate range anxiety. In fast-charging mode, it takes approximately 35 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%, making it convenient for emergency replenishment of power. The vehicle is also equipped with an efficient energy recovery system, which reduces energy loss and further improves the actual driving range. The three-electric system has a warranty of 8 years or 120,000 kilometers, providing users with more peace of mind.
