The Dongfeng Forthing Friday adopts a futuristic and sporty design language, positioning as a pure electric compact SUV with a striking and avant-garde overall shape. Its front fascia features a borderless grille integrated with honeycomb mesh elements, paired with exaggerated split LED headlights—slender and sharp daytime running lights in an “X” layout and wide LED high and low beam lights, creating a highly aggressive and recognizable visual effect. The front bumper is stylish and dynamic, equipped with a front lip decorated with orange accents, enhancing the sporty atmosphere. The side of the body has full and sleek lines, with orange decorative strips on the wheel hubs and side skirts, which are in line with young people’s aesthetic preferences. It is also available with optional black roof, rearview mirror covers and different styles of wheels, showing personalized charm. The rear is equipped with a popular through-type LED taillight, matched with a small split spoiler and air guide groove-like design, and a full circle of two-color surround at the bottom, further improving the overall recognition.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,600 mm in length, 1,860 mm in width, and 1,680 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,715 mm. The interior provides sufficient headroom and legroom for both front and rear passengers, effectively relieving riding fatigue during long trips. The rear seats are designed with flexible split-folding, which greatly improves the flexibility of seating and storage, and can easily accommodate large items such as luggage and daily necessities, meeting the needs of daily commuting and family travel.
Interior Design
The Dongfeng Forthing Friday is equipped with a smart dual-screen combination consisting of a full LCD instrument cluster and a floating central touchscreen, built with an intelligent operating system that supports fast voice response and intelligent interconnection, bringing a smooth and convenient human-vehicle interaction experience. The interior adopts a driver-oriented wrap-around cockpit layout, with a large area of high-quality soft-touch materials covering the center console, matched with exquisite stitching craftsmanship and metal trim, showing a premium and comfortable texture in every detail. It is equipped with ergonomic simulated leather seats, which provide good support and wrapping, and are paired with thoughtful comfort configurations to create a warm and comfortable riding atmosphere. The interior color schemes mainly include classic black, with local bright color elements as embellishments, catering to the personalized needs of different consumers.
In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels, front and rear airbags, rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, and cruise control, among other practical functions. The higher-spec version adds a 360-degree camera system, Level 2 intelligent driver-assistance systems, front seat heating, power-adjustable driver’s seat, and other comfort and safety configurations. It also offers optional 19-inch wheels, further enhancing the vehicle’s safety, comfort and sporty appearance.
Powertrain
The Dongfeng Forthing Friday is a pure electric vehicle equipped with a front-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor provided by Fudi Power under BYD. The motor delivers a maximum power of 150 kW, providing strong and responsive power output, paired with a single-speed electric transmission, ensuring smooth and quiet driving performance. It is standardly equipped with a ternary lithium battery pack produced by Sunwoda, which provides reliable power support for the vehicle. The vehicle has excellent pure electric driving performance, with a smooth acceleration experience and an official top speed that meets daily travel needs. In fast-charging mode, it can quickly replenish power, effectively solving the range anxiety of electric vehicle users, and fully meeting the needs of daily commuting and short-distance travel.
