The M-Hero 917 is a luxury electric SUV launched by Dongfeng Motor Group under the M-Hero Technology brand. It is available in two powertrain options: a pure-electric version and an extended-range version. The pure-electric version features four electric motors with a maximum output of 1,088 horsepower and a CLTC range of 505 kilometers; the extended-range version combines three electric motors with a 1.5T range-extender, offering a combined range of 1,026 kilometers.

Exterior Design

The M-Hero 917 is a full-size new energy off-road SUV, equipped with a polygonal front grille and full LED headlight groups. The vehicle is fitted with LED taillight groups and rear bumper trim. Multiple body color options are available. The vehicle adopts 20-inch wheel configurations for different versions. Conventional door handles are equipped as standard. A panoramic sunroof is equipped for partial versions.
The vehicle adopts a 5-door 5-seater and 5-door 4-seater SUV layout with non-load-bearing body structure. The body dimensions are 4987 mm in length, 2080 mm in width and 1935 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2950 mm. Electrically adjustable exterior mirrors with heating and automatic folding functions are equipped for different versions. An electric charging port cover is equipped as standard.

Interior Design

The vehicle is equipped with a full LCD digital instrument cluster, central control touchscreen, co-pilot entertainment screen and rear touchscreen. Multiple interior color schemes are available, matched with leather upholstery and metallic decorative trim. The vehicle supports multi-color ambient lighting and automatic constant temperature air conditioning. An electronic gear shift lever is equipped as standard.
Standard configurations include front, side and curtain airbags, front and rear parking sensors, rearview camera and constant-speed cruise control. Keyless entry and one-key start functions are standard. High-spec versions are equipped with 360-degree panoramic camera system, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist and active braking system. The vehicle supports V2L external discharge and OTA upgrade functions. Partial versions are equipped with head-up display system and multi-directional adjustable seats with heating, ventilation and massage functions.

Powertrain

The M-Hero 917 adopts four-wheel drive layout, matched with 2-speed automatic dedicated transmission. The vehicle provides extended-range and pure electric power versions. The extended-range model is equipped with 1.5T inline four-cylinder extended-range dedicated gasoline engine and three permanent magnet synchronous motors, with a system comprehensive maximum power of 600 kW and a system comprehensive peak torque of 1050 Nm. The pure electric model is equipped with four permanent magnet synchronous motors, with a system comprehensive maximum power of 800 kW and a system comprehensive peak torque of 1400 Nm.
The vehicle is equipped with ternary lithium battery packs. The CLTC pure electric cruising range covers 125 km and 200 km for extended-range versions, and 505 km for pure electric versions. The vehicle supports DC fast charging and AC slow charging functions. The vehicle is equipped with energy recovery system and battery constant temperature management system. The vehicle adopts front and rear double wishbone independent suspension system with adjustable air suspension and rear-wheel steering system, and supports multiple intelligent off-road modes and crab walking mode.
