The Changan CS35 Plus inherits Changan’s classic family-style design language, focusing on youthfulness and sportiness, featuring a stylish front fascia dominated by a large smoked black dot-matrix grille with embedded S logo, connected to sharp full-LED headlights with integrated high and low beams, and complemented by a red Y-shaped decorative strip running through the lower front surround, creating a strong visual impact. The body lines are smooth and neat, with a double waistline design extending from the front wheel arch to the taillights, enhancing the vehicle’s dynamic posture, while the suspended roof and blackened D-pillar add a sense of fashion. The rear is equipped with a sleek through-type LED taillight group with smoked black treatment, paired with a roof spoiler and bilateral dual-outlet chrome decorative exhaust trim, further highlighting its sporty temperament. The body is available in multiple color options, including Sparkling Ice Crystal White, Andes Gray, Shining Red, Titanium Silver Gray, and Glaze Brown, meeting the personalized aesthetic needs of young users.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,330 mm in length, 1,825 mm in width, and 1,660 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,600 mm, positioning it as a subcompact SUV with excellent space performance for its class. It adopts a 5-door 5-seat layout, providing ample headroom and legroom for front and rear passengers, suitable for daily commuting and small family travel. The rear seats feature a 40/60 split-folding design, which can flexibly expand the trunk space to meet the needs of cargo storage. Interior Design
The Changan CS35 Plus is equipped with a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch floating central touchscreen, forming a dual-screen linkage system that delivers a sleek and advanced visual experience, and it is integrated with an intelligent vehicle system supporting voice control, seamless mobile phone connection, and online navigation, bringing convenient operation experience. The interior adopts a simple and elegant design style, with interior color schemes including all-black and black-beige combinations, blending practicality and comfort. High-quality materials such as soft-wrapped dashboard and leather-textured seats are widely used, complemented by piano paint trim and ambient lighting, creating a warm and refined cabin atmosphere.
In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with 17-inch wheels, front and rear airbags, rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, cruise control, electronic parking, and a sunroof, among other practical functions. The higher-spec version adds Level 1 driver-assistance systems, 360-degree panoramic camera, power-adjustable seats, and one-touch start, further enhancing driving safety and comfort. All models adopt front-wheel drive and electric power steering, ensuring light and flexible control, suitable for urban road driving.
Powertrain
The Changan CS35 Plus is mainly equipped with a front-mounted Blue Core NE 1.4T turbocharged direct-injection engine (model: JL473ZQ5), with an intake form of turbocharging and direct fuel injection, delivering a maximum power output of 118 kW (160 horsepower) and a peak torque of 260 Nm, with the maximum torque available between 1500-4000 rpm. It is paired with a Changan Blue Core 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission, which is specially tuned for Chinese roads, ensuring smooth shifting and responsive control, with an official top speed of 180 km/h, providing sufficient power for daily commuting and occasional long-distance travel.
In terms of fuel economy, the WLTC comprehensive fuel consumption is about 6.7 L/100km, achieving an excellent balance between power and fuel efficiency. The vehicle is equipped with a 53L fuel tank, which can meet the needs of daily travel and short-distance long-distance travel. It uses 92# gasoline and meets the National VI B emission standard, being more environmentally friendly and economical. Additionally, some versions are equipped with an STT idle start-stop function, which can further reduce fuel consumption in urban congestion conditions.
