The Geely Lynk & Co Z20 adopts a futuristic and dynamic design language unique to Lynk & Co’s compact new energy vehicle series, inheriting the brand’s iconic “The Next Day” family design concept and integrating sportiness, technology and natural aesthetics to cater to the needs of young new-generation consumers pursuing personality and driving fun. The front fascia features a sleek through-type grille integrated with sharp LED headlight groups, paired with the brand’s iconic split-type daytime running lights, creating a highly recognizable and futuristic visual effect. The lower part of the front bumper is equipped with a streamlined air intake surround, integrated with aerodynamic components to optimize wind resistance, achieving a low drag coefficient of 0.25Cd. On the side of the vehicle, the body lines are smooth and sleek, with a fastback design extending from the A-pillar to the rear, paired with frameless doors and hidden door handles to create a fashionable and dynamic silhouette. The standard 19-inch star-spoke alloy wheels adopt an aerodynamic cross-section, matching silver calipers to enhance the sporty temperament. The rear design is concise and avant-garde, featuring an integrated “streaming light wing” that combines a through-type LED taillight group with a spoiler, and the 3D three-dimensional texture emits a flowing light effect at night, paired with a sporty rear lip to balance technology and dynamism. The body is available in multiple fashionable color options, including the newly added Fiji Green—a special paint inspired by the clear lagoons and rainforests of Fiji, presenting a flowing golden emerald luster in sunlight and a calm grayish dark green on cloudy days, as well as classic colors such as Midnight Black, Dawn White and Aurora Silver, catering to personalized aesthetic preferences.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle is a standard compact SUV size suitable for urban commuting and family travel, with a reasonable wheelbase that ensures spacious interior space. The interior space is thoughtfully arranged with a 4-door 5-seat layout, ensuring comfortable seating for front and rear passengers. The trunk has a regular Magic trunk volume of 450L, which can easily accommodate daily items and travel luggage; when the rear seats are folded down, the storage volume expands to 1410L, capable of holding outdoor camping equipment, large luggage and other items, perfectly balancing sportiness and practicality. Its flexible turning performance ensures convenient driving and reversing in narrow urban roads and parking lots, enhancing daily usability.
Interior Design
The Geely Lynk & Co Z20 features a sporty, comfortable and high-tech interior design, adopting a driver-centered wrap-around cockpit layout that combines practicality and high-end texture, with a minimalist style that reduces physical buttons and creates a clean and tidy look. The center console is equipped with a 10.2-inch full LCD instrument cluster, a 15.4-inch 2.5K central touch screen and a 13.8-inch HUD head-up display, forming a three-screen interactive system that displays key information such as speed, navigation and power status clearly and intuitively. It is powered by a dual-chip combination of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 and Longying No.1 Plus, which increases system startup speed by 40% and ensures smooth multi-task switching without lag. It is paired with the LYNK Flyme Auto intelligent cockpit system jointly developed with Meizu, supporting seamless mobile phone application transfer, voice broadcast and reply of WeChat messages, continuous voice interaction without repeated wake-up, OTA upgrades, and multiple mobile phone connection protocols, ensuring smooth operation and seamless interaction. The interior is wrapped with a large amount of high-quality materials such as soft fabrics and genuine leather, with no cheap plastic feeling, and the seats are made of perforated genuine leather with good air permeability, fitting the body curve to provide comfortable support for short commutes and long-distance travels. In terms of features, the standard model comes with practical functions such as keyless entry, electric tailgate, front and rear parking sensors, 360-degree panoramic camera, multi-color wave ambient lights that change with music, and wireless charging. Higher-spec versions add a 14-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, L2+ level intelligent driving assistance system, panoramic sunroof, double-layer silent glass, and a versatile and flexible island under the center console that can store small items such as milk tea, mobile phones and keys, further improving convenience, comfort and driving safety. It also has humanized designs such as multiple charging ports and large storage spaces to meet daily travel needs.
Powertrain
The Geely Lynk & Co Z20 offers two power options: pure electric and EM-P plug-in hybrid, built on the SEA Haohan architecture to meet the diverse needs of different consumers. The pure electric version is based on an 800V high-voltage platform, providing single-motor rear-wheel drive (300kW) and dual-motor four-wheel drive (520kW) versions, with a maximum 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.3 seconds, delivering strong performance. It is equipped with a 100kWh battery pack, offering a CLTC-rated pure electric range of 720km, and supports 350kW ultra-fast charging, which can charge from 10% to 80% in only 15 minutes, effectively solving charging anxiety. The EM-P plug-in hybrid version is equipped with the Lynk E-Motive intelligent plug-in hybrid system, consisting of a 2.0T high-power engine and a three-motor combination, paired with a 3-speed DHT Pro transmission. The system’s combined maximum power reaches 450kW and peak torque of 900Nm, with an official 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.8 seconds. It offers a CLTC-rated pure electric range of 200km, which can fully meet daily urban commuting needs, and the WLTC comprehensive fuel consumption is as low as 5.2L/100km when the battery is depleted, adapting to 92# gasoline to reduce subsequent use costs. Both versions are equipped with an advanced battery thermal management system and ESP system, and the battery adopts multiple safety protection technologies to ensure stable power output and driving safety even in extreme driving conditions. The vehicle is equipped with a comfortable suspension system that can effectively filter road bumps, improving driving comfort and stability, and provides multiple driving modes to adapt to various road conditions and driving needs.
