Exterior Design
The Tank 500 Hi4-Z adopts a tough and luxurious design language that inherits Tank’s family off-road genes, featuring a robust and square body shape integrated with Oriental aesthetic elements, breaking the inherent impression of traditional off-road vehicles. It is equipped with a newly designed “Juzhe Grille” with layered chrome strips inspired by ancient Chinese architectural eaves, integrated square LED headlights, vertical two-section LED taillights, and an external spare tire with chrome decorations. Paired with wide-body front and rear bumpers, silver roof racks, side steps, and multi-spoke silver alloy wheels, it highlights its high-end and tough off-road temperament. The rear is equipped with a simple and sturdy rear spoiler that optimizes aerodynamic performance while maintaining its majestic off-road stance. The body is available in three color options: Dunhuang Green, Phantom Black, and Pearl White, all of which are high-grade tones that highlight its full-scenario intelligent luxury off-road SUV style.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 5,078 mm in length, 1,934 mm in width, and 1,905 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,850 mm. The interior space is spacious and luxurious, with ample legroom and headroom for both front and rear passengers, perfectly meeting the travel needs of off-road enthusiasts and high-end families. The rear seats feature a 40/60 split-folding design, which can be fully flattened to expand the cargo space to 1489L, making it convenient for carrying off-road equipment or large items. It is also equipped with roof lidar and side-view cameras integrated in the fender trims, further enhancing its intelligent and tough off-road appearance.
Interior Design
The Tank 500 Hi4-Z is equipped with a 12.3-inch full-color digital instrument cluster, a 15.6-inch 2.5K ultra-thin floating central touchscreen, and a multi-mode HUD head-up display, which perfectly integrates luxurious texture with modern technology and delivers an excellent visual experience. Interior color schemes include luxurious and elegant combinations, with high-quality Nappa leather wrapping the seats and door panels, creating a comfortable and high-end in-car atmosphere that caters to the personalized preferences of high-end users. In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with multi-spoke aluminum alloy wheels, multiple airbags, front and rear parking sensors, a 540° panoramic camera system, cruise control, a 5.4L on-board cooling and heating refrigerator, and a 17.3-inch 3K ceiling-mounted entertainment screen, among other practical functions. The higher-spec premium version adds the third-generation advanced driver-assistance system Coffee Pilot Ultra, infrared night vision system, and practical features such as 6kW external power output and heated/ventilated front and rear seats with massage function.
Powertrain
The Tank 500 Hi4-Z is equipped with a Hi4-Z plug-in hybrid system that combines a 2.0T turbocharged engine with front and rear dual electric motors, meeting the dual needs of daily commuting and off-road adventures. The 2.0T engine delivers a maximum net power of 180 kW and a peak torque of 380 N·m, while the total power of the dual electric motors reaches 455 kW and the total torque is 815 N·m, achieving a comprehensive maximum power of 635 kW and a comprehensive peak torque of 1195 N·m. It is paired with a 3-speed DHT hybrid-specific transmission, with an official top speed of 180 km/h and an official 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 4.6 seconds. The vehicle is equipped with a 59.05 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, providing a WLTC-rated pure electric range of 201 km and a comprehensive range of 1096 km. In fast-charging mode, it takes approximately 15 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%, ensuring convenient daily use and long-distance off-road travel needs.
