The Yangwang U7 is a flagship new-energy sedan launched by Yangwang, BYD’s premium automotive brand, and is positioned as a luxury vehicle in the million-yuan price range. The car features the “Gateway to Time and Space” family design language, with a front fascia similar to that of the Yangwang U9. It measures 5,265 × 1,998 × 1,517 millimeters, has a wheelbase of 3,160 millimeters, and a drag coefficient of 0.195,

Exterior Design

The Yangwang U7 PHEV is a full-size plug-in hybrid sedan, equipped with a closed front grille and full LED headlight groups. The vehicle is fitted with LED taillight groups and aerodynamic rear bumper trim. Multiple body color options are available. The vehicle adopts 21-inch wheel configurations. Partial versions are fitted with roof-mounted lidar sensors and hidden door handles. A panoramic sunroof is equipped as standard.
The vehicle provides 4-door 5-seater and 4-door 4-seater layouts. The body dimensions are 5360 mm in length, 2000 mm in width and 1515 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3130 mm. Electrically adjustable exterior mirrors are standard configurations.

Interior Design

The vehicle is equipped with a full LCD digital instrument cluster and a central floating touchscreen. Multiple interior color schemes are available, matched with premium leather upholstery and metallic decorative trim. The vehicle supports multi-color ambient lighting and four-zone automatic constant temperature air conditioning. An electronic gear shift lever is equipped as standard.
Standard configurations include front, side and curtain airbags, front and rear parking sensors, rearview camera and constant-speed cruise control. Keyless entry and one-key start functions are standard. High-spec versions are equipped with 360-degree panoramic camera system, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist and active braking system. The vehicle supports wireless phone charging, vehicle-mounted refrigerator and OTA upgrade functions.

Powertrain

The Yangwang U7 PHEV is equipped with a 2.0T horizontally opposed four-cylinder gasoline engine and four independent permanent magnet synchronous electric motors, matched with E-CVT transmission. The engine delivers a maximum power of 180 kW. The system comprehensive maximum power is 1000 kW with a peak torque of 1800 Nm. The vehicle adopts four-wheel independent drive layout, with an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h.
The vehicle is equipped with a ternary lithium battery pack. The CLTC pure electric cruising range is 200 km. The vehicle supports DC fast charging and AC slow charging functions, with 30%-80% fast charging completed in 10 minutes. The vehicle is equipped with energy recovery system and Yunniang-Z intelligent chassis system.
