The Fangchengbao Tai 3 inherits the brand’s iconic “Star Wars Aesthetics” and showcases a robust yet futuristic “boxy” silhouette, embodying the core design language of the Fangchengbao tough-style SUV lineup. Its front fascia features a closed-off smoked grille paired with trapezoidal LED headlight groups and sleek parallel daytime running light strips, creating a highly recognizable “star war front” visual impact. The side profile adopts an outwardly expanding design with concave angles, hidden pop-out door handles, and wheel arches that emphasize a muscular stance—18-inch wheels for rear-drive models and 19-inch wheels for four-wheel-drive versions, with optional red brake calipers for a sportier look.

At the rear, a through-type taillight set with dual-line cutting craftsmanship complements the front design, while a side-opening tailgate is equipped with a 28L “small schoolbag” external storage box, enhancing practicality for outdoor and daily use. The body is available in five exterior colors: Ore Green, Element White, Obsidian Black, Starry Silver, and Stardust Purple, with limited-edition Flash Charge Blue and Magic Cube Red car wraps for personalized styling.

In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,605 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width, and 1,720 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,745 mm. The drone-equipped “Lingyuan Intelligent UAV Edition” increases height to 1,930 mm, featuring an on-board drone cabin for unique travel experiences. With a space utilization rate of over 70%, the interior comfortably accommodates 5 adults, and the rear seats support one-touch folding to expand cargo space, meeting diverse storage needs for commuting, camping, and long-distance travel.

Interior Design

The Fangchengbao Tai 3’s interior blends futuristic “interstellar cockpit” design with practical comfort, centered around a horizontal dashboard and soft, high-quality materials. It is equipped with an 8.8-inch full LCD instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch floating central control screen (12.8-inch for Pro versions), forming a dual interactive interface that delivers a clear visual experience. The four-spoke flat-bottomed steering wheel, combined with “chariot gear lever” and crystal buttons, creates a hardcore technological atmosphere, while physical shortcut keys retain intuitive operation habits.

Interior color schemes include two premium two-tone options, with C-shaped interstellar ambient lighting and stepless color adjustment enhancing texture. Practical configurations include a 151L front trunk, 50W wireless charging, front and rear seat ventilation/heating, steering wheel heating, and a -6°C to 50°C wide-temperature cold/warm box. High-end models are equipped with a 14-16 speaker Devialet sound system, in-car KTV microphones, and a “smart island” module integrating multi-functional storage, lighting, and charging, catering to both family and outdoor scenarios.

In terms of features, the standard model comes with 18-inch wheels, front and rear side airbags, rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, cruise control, and the DiLink 100 intelligent cockpit system. The higher-spec Ultra/Flash Charge versions add the “Tianzhiyan C” assisted driving system (supporting high-speed navigation assistance), 6kW external power output, and an optional “Tianzhiyan B” laser radar version (DiPilot 300) for urban and high-speed NOA capabilities. The optional Lingyuan BYD intelligent in-vehicle UAV system further enriches travel functionality.

Powertrain

The Fangchengbao Tai 3 is a pure electric SUV built on BYD’s 800V high-voltage platform, available in rear-drive and four-wheel-drive versions to meet different performance needs. The rear-drive model is equipped with a single front motor delivering a maximum power of 240 kW and peak torque of 310 Nm, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 7.9 seconds. The four-wheel-drive version features front and rear dual motors (135 kW front + 240 kW rear) with a combined maximum power of 375 kW and peak torque of 510 Nm, achieving a 0-100 km/h acceleration of 4.9 seconds. Both versions use a single-speed electric transmission, with an official top speed of 180 km/h.

It is standardly equipped with BYD’s second-generation Blade lithium iron phosphate battery pack: the Flash Charge version uses a 75.6 kWh battery pack, offering a CLTC-rated range of 620 km for the rear-drive model and 565 km for the four-wheel-drive model. The 2025 model is equipped with 65.28 kWh (rear-drive) and 72.96 kWh (four-wheel-drive) batteries, providing a CLTC range of 501 km.

In terms of charging efficiency, the Flash Charge version supports ultra-fast charging: it takes only 5 minutes to charge from 10% to 70% and 9 minutes to charge from 10% to 97% under normal temperature conditions. Even at -30°C, charging from 20% to 97% takes only 12 minutes. For slow charging, it takes approximately 6 hours to fully charge. The 2025 model supports 215 kW fast charging, taking about 18 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%. This efficient energy replenishment greatly reduces waiting time and makes long-distance travel more convenient.
