The Firefly is positioned as a compact all-electric vehicle with a relatively full-bodied and rounded overall design. The front fascia features the closed-off design commonly seen on all-electric models, with headlight clusters composed of three rings—officially dubbed “Trio Headlights.” Additionally, the front and rear taillights feature a fully symmetrical design, giving the vehicle a high level of visual distinctiveness.

Exterior Design

The NIO Firefly is a compact pure electric vehicle equipped with LED headlight assemblies and LED taillight groups. The vehicle is fitted with 17-inch wheel rims for all versions. Partial versions are equipped with hidden door handles and high-mounted brake lights. The available exterior body colors include White, Black, Gray, Purple, Green and Brown.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4003 mm in length, 1781 mm in width, and 1557 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2615 mm. It adopts a 5-door 5-seat layout. The rear seats support folding adjustment to expand rear cargo space.

Interior Design

The NIO Firefly is fitted with a full LCD instrument panel and central control touch screen. The interior is equipped with fabric seats as standard and leather seats for higher configurations, as well as a multi-function steering wheel. Partial versions support front seat electric adjustment function. Higher-spec versions support wireless phone charging function.
In terms of configurations, the standard model comes with front and rear parking sensors, rearview camera, cruise control, front airbags, side airbags and automatic constant temperature air conditioning. Higher-spec models are equipped with 360-degree panoramic imaging system and L2-level intelligent driving assistance system. The vehicle is equipped with intelligent human-computer interaction system and 14-speaker audio system as standard.

Powertrain

The NIO Firefly adopts rear-wheel drive layout, paired with single-speed fixed gear transmission. The vehicle is equipped with permanent magnet synchronous motor. The motor delivers a maximum power of 120 kW and a peak torque of 205 Nm.
The vehicle is equipped with a 42.1 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack. The vehicle has a CLTC comprehensive cruising range of 420 km. It supports 400V high-voltage DC fast charging and AC slow charging functions. The fast charging duration from 10% to 80% power takes 29 minutes. The vehicle adopts front MacPherson independent suspension and rear multi-link independent suspension. The official 0-100 km/h acceleration time is 7.9 seconds. The maximum speed of the vehicle is 150 km/h. The vehicle supports battery swap function.
