The HEDMOS 06 adopts a stylish and sharp design style based on the “Light French Aesthetics”, positioning itself as an A+ class pure electric intelligent SUV under the new new energy brand HEDMOS of Dongfeng Peugeot Citroën, tailored for young families and urban commuters who pursue driving fun, comfort and practicality, ideal for daily commuting, family travel and outdoor camping. As the first model of the HEDMOS brand, it perfectly integrates Chinese electric technology with pure French driving control genes, showing a unique design charm. It features a sleek and layered front fascia with a closed grille, which not only highlights its new energy identity but also optimizes aerodynamic performance, paired with a sharp front nose line and raised hood ribs, creating a delicate light and shadow effect. The front emblem of “HEDMOS” is inspired by the “compass needle”, which is embedded in the center of the front face and has a strong brand recognition. The slender integrated full LED headlight groups are connected to the hood, with arrayed daytime running lights that enhance the recognition, and the black air intake decorations on both sides of the front bumper add a sense of sportiness. The side of the body adopts a smooth and dynamic double waistline design, with the upper waistline extending from the front fender to the rear, matching the sloping roof and hidden door handles, optimizing the integrity of the body lines and showing a dynamic posture. The side skirts, roof racks and the lower part of the rearview mirrors are blackened, paired with multi-spoke two-color wheels, highlighting the sporty temperament. The rear of the vehicle is full and layered, with a large-size hollow rear spoiler and a through-type LED taillight group. The taillight design draws inspiration from the violin bow, named “Violin Bow Moon Taillight”, which outlines a rhythmic light and shadow effect through curved transitions and three-dimensional light effects. The rear emblem hides the reversing image camera, and the hidden exhaust layout conforms to the simple and environmentally friendly design concept of new energy vehicles. The body is available in multiple fashionable color options, including both single-color and two-color body choices, catering to the personalized aesthetic needs of young consumers.

In terms of dimensions, the HEDMOS 06 measures 4,670 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width, and 1,617 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,775 mm, achieving a leading spacious space in the same class. As a 5-door 5-seat SUV, its 2,775 mm wheelbase ensures a comfortable interior space that meets the needs of family travel. For passengers of medium build, the rear legroom can reach two fists, and the flat floor design further improves the riding comfort of the middle passenger. The vehicle has excellent passability, which can easily cope with common urban potholes and road edges. The conventional trunk volume is 506L, which can easily accommodate 4 24-inch suitcases and daily necessities. The rear seats support 40:60 proportional folding, and the maximum loading volume can be expanded to 1,806L with a depth of 1.8 meters, which can meet the needs of carrying large items such as camping equipment, providing strong practicality for travel and daily use.

Interior Design

The interior of the HEDMOS 06 adopts a minimalist and high-end design style, drawing inspiration from “Impression Sunrise” to create a warm, relaxed and ritual cockpit atmosphere. It focuses on comfort, texture and practicality, and the parts that the body can touch are mostly wrapped in high-grade leather and 85% ultra-soft PVC soft-touch materials, paired with exquisite stitching craftsmanship and transparent wood grain decorative panels, greatly enhancing the sense of grade and texture. The new car adheres to the concept of “standard configuration is full configuration”, and is equipped with a dual-screen combination of a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch floating high-definition touchscreen. The central control screen is placed low to avoid blocking the driver’s vision, and the operation is smooth and intuitive. The in-vehicle system is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 vehicle-grade chip, supporting HUAWEI HiCar/CarPlay/Carlink mobile phone interconnection, full-scene AI voice recognition (including dialects such as Cantonese and Sichuan dialect), and retains the classic three-finger sliding screen operation of French cars, making the operation more convenient. The two-spoke flat-bottomed sports steering wheel is comfortable to hold, with an electronic column-mounted shift lever behind it, which saves the central control space. The center console adopts a suspended island design, with a wireless phone charging panel, cup holders and storage compartments, which is highly practical. The front seats adopt an integrated sports design, with full and thick padding, excellent wrapping and comfort, and the main driver’s seat is equipped with heating, ventilation and memory functions. The rear seats are softer and thicker, with a moderate backrest angle, which can effectively relieve the fatigue of long-distance riding.

In terms of features, the HEDMOS 06 is fully equipped with practical and intelligent configurations to meet the needs of daily use and driving safety. The whole series is standard with basic safety configurations including driver and passenger airbags, child seat interface, ABS anti-lock braking system, EBD electronic brake force distribution system and ESP body stability system, ensuring driving safety. It is also standard with practical configurations such as 360° panoramic image, transparent chassis, rear parking radar, energy recovery system, electric sunroof that can be opened electrically, electric tailgate, and one-touch window lifting with anti-pinch function. In addition, it supports 3.3kW high-power external discharge function, which can meet the needs of outdoor barbecues, coffee making and emergency power supply, catering to the demand for refined outdoor life. It also supports mobile phone APP remote control, which can realize remote door unlocking, remote air conditioning control, remote car search, charging management and vehicle condition query, bringing a more convenient driving experience to users. The vehicle adopts high-temperature particle double baking process, and the TVOC emission is better than the national standard, and the NVH silent level is leading in the same class, creating a healthy and quiet riding environment.

Powertrain

The HEDMOS 06 is a pure electric vehicle focusing on “Chinese Electric + French Driving Control”, built with Dongfeng’s cutting-edge self-developed three-electric technology and inheriting the master-level champion chassis tuning of Peugeot Citroën CLDR. The whole series is standard with a front-mounted single permanent magnet synchronous electric motor, with a maximum power output of 160 kW and a peak torque of 310 Nm, paired with a single-speed electric transmission. The power output is adjusted to be close to the output curve of a fuel vehicle engine, making acceleration more controllable and smooth, without obvious sudden acceleration. The official 0-100 km/h acceleration time is 6.9 seconds, which has strong performance and is suitable for daily urban commuting and pursuit of driving fun. The vehicle is equipped with a 62.3 kWh Mach E lithium iron phosphate battery pack supplied by China Innovation Aviation, with a CLTC pure electric cruising range of 520 km, which can easily cope with daily commuting and medium-distance travel. The battery is equipped with a lithium dendrite repair technology, with a cycle life of more than 2000 times, which is equivalent to supporting the vehicle for more than 20 years of use, and has passed IP67 waterproof certification and extreme condition tests such as needle pricking and extrusion, ensuring charging and use safety.

In terms of charging, the HEDMOS 06 supports both fast charging and slow charging. In fast charging mode, it only takes about 28 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%, which is convenient for emergency energy supplement. The slow charging time is about 8-10 hours, which can be completed by using a home charging pile or a public slow charging pile, suitable for charging at night or during rest. The battery is equipped with a -35℃ to 40℃ wide temperature range efficient thermal management system, ensuring stable battery performance in extreme cold and hot environments and reducing cruising range attenuation. The chassis is tuned by a professional team of Peugeot Citroën, adopting a front MacPherson independent suspension and a rear multi-link independent suspension, with a minimum turning radius of 5.4 meters and a moose test score of 75 km/h, achieving the excellent performance of “no bump on bumpy roads, no drift on curves, no sudden acceleration, no jitter on deceleration, no motion sickness on riding, and no tiredness on long distances”. The vehicle is also equipped with multiple driving modes, which can be switched according to different driving scenarios, balancing driving comfort and handling stability, and is very suitable for urban commuters and family users.
