Exterior Design
The SAIC H5, a mid-size SUV under the Shangjie brand, adopts a simple and dynamic design language that combines practicality and technological sense, featuring a streamlined front fascia with a closed grille, paired with sharp LED headlights and a through-type LED daytime running light, which enhances its clean and modern temperament. The rear is equipped with a through-type taillight design that echoes the front light strip, with a subtle rear spoiler integrated into the trunk lid to optimize aerodynamic performance, and a set of sensors reasonably arranged around the vehicle, perfectly integrating technological functions with the overall design without damaging the smooth body lines. The front face is designed with a sense of hierarchy, matching the dynamic posture of the whole vehicle to meet the aesthetic needs of daily commuting and family travel.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,780 mm in length, 1,910 mm in width, and 1,657 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,840 mm, positioning it as a mid-size SUV and ensuring ample interior space for a comfortable riding experience for five passengers. The body is available in multiple color options, including single-color versions such as Gilded Black, Moon Rock Gray, Cloud Water Blue, Ceramic White, Midsummer Purple and Yachuan Green, as well as personalized color options like Shaohua Apricot, Night Mist Gray, Night Purple and Chicha Orange. The side profile features a sleek waistline extending from the front to the rear, paired with 19-inch low-drag wheels as standard (20-inch multi-spoke wheels or 20-inch black obsidian multi-spoke wheels optional), and mechanical door handles, balancing practicality and aesthetics. The streamlined body design helps optimize aerodynamic efficiency, ensuring excellent energy efficiency during driving.
Interior Design
The SAIC H5 features a comfortable and technologically advanced interior design with a humanized layout, centered on an integrated multi-screen interactive system, paired with a user-friendly operation interface to deliver a seamless visual and interactive experience. It is equipped with an intelligent cockpit system, supporting functions such as voice control, multi-device seamless connection and keyless entry, enhancing convenience and comfort for daily use. The interior is wrapped in high-quality materials with exquisite craftsmanship, creating a warm and comfortable riding atmosphere, and multiple interior color schemes are available to meet different personalized preferences of users.
In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with a panoramic sunroof with electric sunshade, double-layer sound-insulating glass for the front windshield and front doors, multi-functional seats, multiple safety airbags, a 540-degree panoramic image, electric tailgate with foot kick opening function, and a 124L electric front trunk that supports Knock-knock opening. It also has rich storage space, including an 8.2L single-opening central armrest box, a 7.7L glove box, a 15.1L open storage space under the center console, and an 80L storage box under the trunk cover, with a trunk volume of 601L to 1837L when the rear seats are folded. The higher-spec version adds more practical configurations to further improve the riding experience. The vehicle adopts a 5-door 5-seat layout, ensuring comfortable seating space for both front and rear passengers.
Powertrain
The SAIC H5 offers two power options: extended-range and pure electric, both paired with an electric transmission. The pure electric version is available in rear-motor rear-wheel drive configuration, with different power parameters for different versions, and the official 0-100 km/h acceleration time ranges from 7.3 seconds to 7.9 seconds, with an official top speed of 190 km/h to 200 km/h, delivering strong and smooth driving performance.
The pure electric version is equipped with different capacity battery packs, offering a CLTC-rated pure electric range of 525 km to 655 km to meet the needs of different travel scenarios. The extended-range version is equipped with a range extender, with a CLTC pure electric range of 235 km and a comprehensive cruising range of up to 1360 km (CLTC), effectively eliminating range anxiety. The vehicle supports fast charging, ensuring efficient energy supplement during long-distance travel. In addition, it has a 100-0 km/h braking distance of 35.12 meters and a turning radius of 5.4 to 5.5 meters, ensuring excellent driving safety and maneuverability.
