The SAIC H5 is the first model from HIMA’s “Fifth Realm” Shangjie lineup. It is a midsize SUV available in both all-electric and range-extended versions, and was officially launched on September 23, 2025, at Harmony Auto’s Fall New Product Launch Event.

Exterior Design

The SAIC H5 is a compact pure electric and extended-range SUV equipped with LED headlight assemblies and through-type horizontal taillight groups. The vehicle is fitted with 19-inch and 20-inch wheel rims for different versions, with blackened appearance kits optional. The available exterior body colors include Ceramic White, Gilded Black, Moon Rock Gray, Cloud Water Blue, Midsummer Purple and Yachuan Green.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,780 mm in length, 1,910 mm in width, and 1,657 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,840 mm. It adopts a 5-door 5-seat SUV layout. The rear seats support folding adjustment to expand rear cargo space.

Interior Design

The SAIC H5 is fitted with a 10.25-inch full LCD digital instrument panel and a 15.6-inch floating central control touch screen. The interior is equipped with a lever-type shifting structure. Multiple interior color schemes are available. The vehicle is equipped with leather seats and a multi-function steering wheel.
In terms of configurations, the standard model comes with front and rear parking sensors, rearview camera, cruise control, front and side airbags, and automatic air conditioning. Higher-spec models are equipped with Level 2 intelligent driving assistance system, 360-degree panoramic imaging system, and active braking. The vehicle supports front wireless fast charging and independent rear air conditioning.

Powertrain

The SAIC H5 provides extended-range and pure electric powertrain versions. The extended-range model is equipped with a 1.5L range extender and a rear single electric motor. The range extender delivers a maximum power of 80 kW, and the electric motor delivers a maximum power of 150 kW and a peak torque of 350 Nm. The pure electric model adopts a 400V high-voltage platform and a rear single motor layout, with maximum motor power of 150 kW and 180 kW for different versions.
The extended-range model is equipped with a 32.6 kWh battery pack, offering a CLTC pure electric cruising range of 235 km and a comprehensive cruising range of 1360 km. The pure electric model is equipped with 64.6 kWh and 80 kWh battery packs, with CLTC cruising ranges of 525 km, 535 km and 640 km for different versions. It supports fast charging and slow charging functions.
