The Hongqi HS6 PHEV is a plug-in hybrid midsize SUV from the Hongqi brand. Built on the all-new Honghu hybrid platform, it features a powertrain consisting of a 1.5T engine and dual electric motors, and is available with lithium iron phosphate batteries in two capacities: 23 kWh and 40 kWh.

Exterior Design

The Hongqi HS6 PHEV is a mid-large plug-in hybrid SUV, equipped with vertical front grille and full LED headlight groups. The vehicle is fitted with LED taillight groups and rear bumper trim. Multiple body color options are available. The vehicle adopts 19-inch wheel configurations for different versions. Conventional door handles are equipped as standard. A panoramic sunroof is equipped for partial versions.
The vehicle adopts a 5-door 5-seater SUV layout. The body dimensions are 4925 mm in length, 1970 mm in width and 1740 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2925 mm. Electrically adjustable exterior mirrors with heating and automatic folding functions are equipped for different versions. An electric charging port cover is equipped as standard.

Interior Design

The vehicle is equipped with a full LCD digital instrument cluster and dual 15.6-inch central control touchscreens. Multiple interior color schemes are available, matched with leather upholstery and metallic decorative trim. The vehicle supports multi-color ambient lighting and automatic constant temperature air conditioning. An electronic gear shift lever is equipped as standard.
Standard configurations include front, side, curtain and far-side airbags, front and rear parking sensors, rearview camera and constant-speed cruise control. Keyless entry and one-key start functions are standard. High-spec versions are equipped with 360-degree panoramic camera system, head-up display system, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist and active braking system. The vehicle supports vehicle network connection, wireless phone charging, V2L external discharge and OTA upgrade functions. Partial versions are equipped with multi-directional adjustable passenger seats with massage functions.

Powertrain

The Hongqi HS6 PHEV adopts front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive layouts, matched with single-speed dedicated hybrid transmission. The vehicle is equipped with 1.5T inline four-cylinder plug-in hybrid dedicated gasoline engine and permanent magnet synchronous motors. The gasoline engine has a maximum power of 110 kW and a peak torque of 225 Nm. The front motor has a maximum power of 168 kW and a peak torque of 340 Nm. The four-wheel drive version is additionally equipped with a rear motor with a maximum power of 201 kW and a peak torque of 306 Nm.
The vehicle is equipped with 23kWh and 40kWh lithium iron phosphate battery packs for different versions. The CLTC pure electric cruising range covers 148 km and 248 km, with a comprehensive cruising range exceeding 1200 km. The vehicle supports DC fast charging and AC slow charging functions. The vehicle is equipped with energy recovery system and battery constant temperature management system. The vehicle adopts front MacPherson independent suspension and rear multi-link independent suspension system.
