The Lotus For Me is Lotus Cars’ first mid-to-large-sized plug-in hybrid SUV. Built on the same platform as the all-electric ELETRE, it is positioned as a luxury high-performance SUV. With dimensions of 5,103 × 2,019 × 1,636 mm, a wheelbase of 3,019 mm, and a width-to-height ratio of 1.24, the vehicle features a coupe-style SUV silhouette and “perforated” aerodynamic design. It is equipped with an active rear wing and a retractable lidar system; the aerodynamic package generates 120 kg of net downforce at 100 km/h to optimize high-speed stability.

Exterior Design

The Lotus For Me inherits Lotus’ iconic hypercar-oriented aerodynamic design language, featuring a low-slung, wide-body front fascia paired with sleek matrix LED headlights and sharp daytime running light strips that extend along the front fenders. Four groups of fully-through race-grade air ducts are embedded on both side panels, leveraging the Venturi effect to optimize airflow and generate stable aerodynamic downforce. A height-adjustable active rear spoiler is fitted at the tail, which automatically rises at high speeds to boost driving stability and reinforce aggressive sporty styling. The vehicle provides six exterior color options: Aurora Silver, Night Black, Coral Orange, Glacier Blue, Matte Titanium and Cloud White.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 5,103 mm in length, 2,019 mm in width, and 1,636 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,019 mm. As a five-seat luxury hyper hybrid SUV, it delivers spacious rear passenger legroom for long-distance rides. Its luggage compartment offers a standard storage volume of 688 liters, which can be expanded to 1,532 liters after folding the rear seats in a 40/60 split layout. The expanded space can accommodate large outdoor sports equipment such as road bikes, meeting diverse travel and storage demands.

Interior Design

The Lotus For Me adopts a minimalist cockpit layout tailored for driver-centric control, equipped with a 12.6-inch curved full LCD digital instrument cluster and a 15.1-inch floating central control touchscreen with built-in NVIDIA Thor smart driving chip. The interior color schemes include Obsidian Black, Sand Beige and Deep Indigo, matched with satin double-woven carbon fiber trim and premium Nappa leather upholstery to highlight luxury texture. In terms of standard configurations, it comes with 22-inch aerodynamic alloy wheels, front and side curtain airbags, front and rear parking sensors, high-definition panoramic rearview camera and adaptive cruise control.
The upgraded Special Edition adds full Level 2+ intelligent driver-assistance systems, high-speed and urban navigation assisted driving, automatic emergency braking that works at 130 km/h, as well as premium practical features including a 23-speaker KEF immersive audio system, 10-level dimmable PDLC smart panoramic sunroof and remote smartphone parking function.

Powertrain

The Lotus For Me is built on the brand’s exclusive 900V X-Hybrid high-voltage architecture, equipped with a front 2.0T turbocharged engine and dual front and rear permanent magnet synchronous motors, forming a full-time four-wheel drive layout. The combined system maximum power reaches 700 kW (952 hp) and the peak torque hits 935 Nm, paired with a single-speed dedicated hybrid DHT transmission, with an official top speed of 230 km/h and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of only 3.3 seconds. It maintains consistent explosive performance even when the battery charge drops to 10%.
The vehicle is standard-fitted with a 70 kWh CATL ternary lithium battery pack. It delivers a pure electric CLTC cruising range of 420 km for daily zero-fuel commuting, and an overall comprehensive cruising range exceeding 1,400 km. Supported by the 900V ultra-fast charging platform, it only takes 22 minutes to charge the battery from 30% to 80%. Additionally, the vehicle supports high-speed cruising self-charging, which can replenish 25 kWh of electricity per hour during 120 km/h highway driving to eliminate long-distance range anxiety.
