The Buick Velite 6 is a pure-electric MAV (Multi-Activity Vehicle) launched by SAIC-GM’s Buick brand. The 410-km long-range version was first unveiled on October 12, 2019. Developed on an all-new electric vehicle architecture, the vehicle features a MAV crossover body style with dimensions of 4,650 × 1,817 × 1,519 mm and a wheelbase of 2,660 mm. It offers more than 20 storage compartments and a trunk capacity that can be expanded to 1,098 liters.

Exterior Design

The Buick Velite 6 adopts compact pure electric sedan design language, equipped with a closed front grille and full LED headlight groups. The vehicle is fitted with LED taillight groups and aerodynamic rear bumper trim. It is available in multiple solid body color options. The model supports 17-inch and 18-inch wheel configurations for different versions.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4673 mm in length, 1817 mm in width, and 1519 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2660 mm. The model adopts a 5-door 5-seater layout. The vehicle is fitted with electrically adjustable exterior mirrors as standard.

Interior Design

The Buick Velite 6 is equipped with a 10-inch full LCD digital instrument cluster and a 10-inch central touchscreen. Interior color schemes include Black and Gray, matched with fabric and leather upholstery and metallic decorative trim. The vehicle supports multi-color ambient lighting and automatic constant temperature air conditioning.
In terms of configurations, the standard model is equipped with front and side airbags, front and rear parking sensors, rearview camera, and constant-speed cruise control. It comes with keyless entry, one-key start and mobile phone interconnection functions. The high-spec version is fitted with a 360-degree panoramic camera system, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist and active braking system. The vehicle supports mobile phone wireless charging function.

Powertrain

The Buick Velite 6 is equipped with a front-mounted permanent magnet synchronous electric motor, matched with a single-speed electric transmission. The motor delivers a maximum power of 130 kW and peak torque of 265 Nm. The vehicle adopts front-wheel drive layout, with an electronically limited top speed of 170 km/h.
The vehicle is equipped with a 50.3 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack. The CLTC comprehensive cruising range covers 430 km and 450 km for different versions. It supports DC fast charging and AC slow charging functions, with 10%-80% fast charging completed in 30 minutes. The model supports adjustable energy recovery and OTA upgrade functions.
