The Cadillac XT4 inherits the brand’s iconic diamond-cut design language, consistent with other modern Cadillac SUV models, featuring a dynamic and compact front fascia with newly upgraded inline matrix headlights that boast strong recognition and adaptive anti-glare high beams, effectively enhancing driving safety at night. The rear is equipped with sleek and sharp wing-shaped taillights, which echo the front headlights to form a cohesive and elegant light design, while the optional sporty exterior kit (including a customized front lip and rear diffuser) further accentuates its youthful and sporty charm. The body adopts a dynamic floating roof design paired with smoked rearview mirrors, complemented by multi-style alloy wheels (18-inch as standard, 20-inch optional) that highlight its compact and vigorous mechanical aesthetics. The vehicle is available in a variety of exterior color options, including Crystal White Tricoat, Manhattan Gray Metallic, Radiant Red Tintcoat, and Phantom Black Metallic, catering to the personalized aesthetic needs of young consumers.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,600 mm in length, 1,881 mm in width, and 1,627 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,779 mm. It can comfortably seat up to 5 passengers, with ample front and rear headroom and legroom, providing a cozy riding experience for both front and rear occupants. The rear seats feature a 60/40 split-folding design, which not only improves the flexibility of seating and storage but also expands the cargo space significantly when folded flat, easily meeting the needs of daily commuting, weekend getaways and small-item storage.
Interior Design
The Cadillac XT4 is equipped with a 33-inch curved 9K ultra-retina display that integrates the digital instrument cluster and central control system, adopting Mini-LED partitioned backlight technology with 271PPI pixel density and 10bit color depth, presenting 1 billion true colors and delivering an immersive visual experience like an IMAX theater. The interior adopts a wrap-around luxury cockpit design, adorned with high-end materials such as genuine wood, aluminum accents and premium Moli leather, paired with meticulously stitched details and soft ambient lighting to create a refined and luxurious atmosphere. Interior color schemes include Jet Black, Light Platinum with Jet Black Accents, and Maple Sugar with Jet Black Accents, satisfying the personalized preferences of different consumers.
In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels, front and rear parking assist, a rearview camera, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a Bose premium 8-speaker sound system, as well as self-sealing tires and a streaming rearview mirror for enhanced safety. The higher-spec Premium Luxury and Sport versions add more high-end configurations, including 20-inch alloy wheels, wireless phone charging, a hands-free power liftgate, heated and ventilated front seats with massage function, as well as advanced safety features such as side blind zone alert, rear cross traffic alert, and a 360-degree camera system. The top-spec models are also equipped with the studio-grade AKG high-fidelity sound system and ANC active noise cancellation technology, creating a quiet and comfortable riding environment.
Powertrain
The Cadillac XT4 offers two powertrain options to meet different consumer needs: a 1.5L turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine, both paired with a 48V mild hybrid system, which effectively improves start-stop smoothness, reduces turbo lag and optimizes fuel economy. The 1.5T engine delivers a maximum power output of 155 kW (204 horsepower) and a peak torque of 270 Nm, while the 2.0T engine delivers a maximum power output of 174 kW (237 horsepower) and a peak torque of 350 Nm, which can be fully released at 1500-4500 rpm. Both engines are matched with a 9-speed automatic transmission for smooth and responsive shifting performance, with an official top speed of 205 km/h and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 7.6 seconds for the 2.0T version.
In terms of fuel economy, the XT5 achieves a WLTC comprehensive fuel consumption of 6.9 L/100km for the 1.5T version and 7.2 L/100km for the 2.0T version, with a full tank of fuel enabling a long cruising range. The vehicle is also available with an optional four-wheel drive system and a rear five-link independent suspension, enhancing its handling performance and adaptability to complex road conditions, perfectly balancing urban commuting comfort and sporty driving fun.
