The Geely Galaxy Starship 7, built on the GEA new energy exclusive architecture, inherits the brand’s iconic ripple aesthetics and interprets a modern and dynamic design style tailored for A-class electric hybrid SUVs. It features a sleek and broad front fascia with an integrated “Galaxy Waterfall” grille, which is paired with sharp and penetrating LED headlight groups and distinctive daytime running lights, creating a high-recognition and youthful visual effect. The side profile adopts smooth and dynamic lines, with a sloping roof design that enhances its sporty stance, while the blackened wheel arches and trendy alloy wheels add a touch of ruggedness. The rear is equipped with a full-width LED light bar that is highly consistent with the front design, paired with a sporty rear bumper and a hidden exhaust layout, achieving a perfect balance between fashion and practicality. The body is available in multiple stylish color options, including the newly added Star Sea Blue, as well as classic options such as White, Black, Silver and Gray, all featuring high-quality paint that presents a delicate and glossy texture under light.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle is positioned as an A-class SUV with 5 doors and 5 seats, measuring an appropriate length, width and height that balances maneuverability and space. It has a wheelbase that ensures ample interior space for both front and rear passengers, providing a comfortable riding experience for families and daily commuting. The rear seats feature a 40/60 split-folding design, which significantly expands the storage flexibility of the trunk, easily accommodating large items such as strollers and luggage, meeting the diverse needs of daily use and travel.
Interior Design
The Geely Galaxy Starship 7 adopts a classic T-shaped cockpit layout, integrating modern technology and comfort to create a warm and practical interior atmosphere. It is equipped with a digital instrument cluster, a floating central touchscreen and a W-HUD head-up display, forming an intelligent three-screen interaction system that delivers a clear and smooth visual experience. The vehicle is equipped with the Flyme Auto in-vehicle system, supporting seamless connection with multiple brand mobile phones and高德 map immersive navigation for convenient daily use. The interior is made of high-quality materials, with soft wrapping in key areas, paired with delicate decorative strips, enhancing the sense of refinement and comfort. The interior color scheme includes the newly added Starship Gray, catering to different personalized aesthetic preferences of users.
In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with practical configurations such as alloy wheels, front and rear side airbags, rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, and cruise control. The higher-spec version is equipped with the Qianli Haohan intelligent safety assistance driving system, supporting highway and urban NOA navigation assistance, as well as AES automatic emergency avoidance and HPA memory parking functions, ensuring safer driving. It also adds advanced configurations such as 16-speaker Flyme Sound boundless audio system, 50W wireless fast charging, 540° transparent chassis, front and rear seat heating and ventilation, and 14-point massage function for the “Marshmallow SPA seats”, significantly improving the comfort and convenience of the vehicle. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with multiple storage compartments and USB ports throughout the cabin, meeting the daily storage and charging needs of users.
Powertrain
The Geely Galaxy Starship 7 is the first model to be equipped with the new generation Thor EM-i super hybrid system, paired with an E-DHT intelligent stepless 11-in-1 hybrid electric drive and a silicon carbide stepless voltage transformation module, achieving excellent performance in energy saving and power. It is equipped with a 1.5L naturally aspirated four-cylinder hybrid-specific engine with a maximum thermal efficiency of 46.5%, a maximum power of 82 kW and a peak torque of 136 Nm, combined with a front-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 160 kW and a peak torque of 262 Nm, paired with a 1-speed DHT hybrid-specific transmission. The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in only 7.5 seconds, with an official top speed of 180 km/h, delivering strong and smooth power output.
In terms of battery and range, the Geely Galaxy Starship 7 offers multiple lithium iron phosphate battery options. The 55km series is equipped with an 8.5 kWh battery, while the 120km series is equipped with a 19.09 kWh battery, both with a CLTC-rated comprehensive cruising range of 1420 km and a fuel consumption of only 3.75 L per 100 km in feed mode. The 120km series supports 36kW fast charging, which can charge from 30% to 80% in approximately 20 minutes, while the 55km series only supports slow charging. The vehicle also adopts a power redundancy design, ensuring that there is no power loss in any situation, and the driving experience is consistent between full power and feed mode.
