Exterior Design
The JMEV EV3 adopts a simple and stylish design concept, tailored for efficient urban mobility with its compact footprint that is ideal for narrow city streets and parking spaces. Its body design integrates the dynamics of a cheetah and the fluidity of a shark’s dorsal fin, achieving a more aerodynamic driving experience while maintaining a cute and practical appearance. It is equipped with halogen headlights with height adjustment, and higher-end models are also fitted with fog lamps and LED daytime running lights, along with the “Spirit Stream” front grille LED dynamic light belt that enhances driving safety.
Along the body, the JMEV EV3 features a signature three-segment dynamic waistline, which endows the vehicle with a dynamic urban spirit. The smooth body lines and three-dimensional surface design create a clean and lively look, while the 5-door hatchback body style enhances practicality for daily use. The rear end has a simple and neat design, with integrated taillights that improve recognition. The body is available in multiple color options including white, pink, green and blue, catering to different aesthetic preferences of urban users.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 3,720 mm in length, 1,640 mm in width, and 1,535 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,390 mm. This compact dimension configuration not only facilitates urban driving and parking but also provides sufficient interior space for four passengers. The rear seat can be folded down to offer an impressive 1,000-liter cargo capacity, meeting diverse storage needs for daily commuting and short trips.
Interior Design
The JMEV EV3 features a simple yet modern interior design, with a reasonably arranged center console that is convenient to operate. It is equipped with a 10.1-inch floating central control screen, which provides clear vision and rich entertainment and interactive functions, paired with a practical steering wheel. A HUD (Head-Up Display) is installed in front of the driver, enhancing the efficiency of information acquisition while driving and ensuring driving safety.
The interior adopts practical fabric seats, with the main and passenger seats offering 2-way height adjustment as well as front-and-rear and backrest adjustment, ensuring a comfortable riding posture for different users. The steering wheel is available in plastic or leather material, with manual up-and-down adjustment for added convenience. It also comes with practical configurations such as keyless start system, central locking, and mobile app remote control (including door control, air conditioning control and vehicle location search), while higher-spec models are equipped with 360-degree surround-view cameras and tire pressure monitoring for enhanced practicality and safety.
Powertrain
The JMEV EV3 offers multiple powertrain options to suit different usage scenarios, all adopting front-motor front-wheel-drive layout and permanent magnet synchronous motors. The motor power ranges from 35 kW to 50 kW: the base model delivers 35 kW or 36 kW of maximum power and 110 Nm or 140 Nm of peak torque, while the 2025 Plus version is equipped with a TZ180XS250 electric motor that outputs 50 kW of maximum power and 125 Nm of peak torque. All models are paired with a single-speed electric transmission, with an official top speed of 100 km/h, suitable for urban commuting.
In terms of battery and range, the JMEV EV3 is available with various battery types and capacities, including 31.9 kWh Li-NMC, 31.15 kWh Li-NMC, 21.4 kWh sodium-ion, and 30.24 kWh LFP battery packs. The CLTC-rated range varies from 251 km to 330 km depending on the battery configuration. The 2025 Plus version with 30.24 kWh LFP battery can be charged from 30% to 80% in approximately 32 minutes in fast-charging mode, effectively eliminating range anxiety for daily use. Notably, the sodium-ion battery version retains over 91% of charge capacity at -20 °C, with excellent cold weather performance.
