Exterior Design
The Lotus ELETRE adopts an aggressive and aerodynamic design language unique to Lotus’s pure electric mid-size luxury crossover SUV series, featuring a sleek and dynamic front fascia that highlights its sporty and futuristic genes, with an active front grille and multiple sets of aerodynamic air ducts that enhance aerodynamic performance significantly. The sharp and narrow LED headlight groups are located on both sides of the front, paired with sharp daytime running lights with dot-matrix light sources, creating a fierce and highly recognizable visual effect. The lower part of the front bumper is equipped with a large trapezoidal air intake, decorated with blackened decorative elements inside, adding a sense of movement and layering. On the side of the vehicle, the smooth coupe-style sloping roof line extends from the front to the rear, paired with a two-tone body to create a floating roof effect, and the pop-up door handles help reduce wind resistance. The standard 22-inch forged wheels enhance both visual appeal and driving stability, while the optional 23-inch wheels further highlight its sporty temperament. The rear design is dynamic and bold, with a standard adjustable rear spoiler that can provide strong downforce, paired with a through-type blackened taillight group that stretches the horizontal visual width of the rear. Vertical air guide grooves on both sides of the rear and a large blackened diffuser at the bottom further optimize aerodynamic performance. The body is available in multiple color options, catering to the aesthetic preferences of different consumer groups pursuing sportiness and luxury.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 5,103 mm in length, 2,135 mm in width (with side camera mirrors) and 1,630 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,020 mm, which is a standard mid-size luxury crossover SUV size suitable for both high-performance driving and family long-distance travel. The interior space is generously arranged, with optional 4-seat and 5-seat layouts. The 4-seat version is equipped with independent rear executive seats, ensuring superior comfort for front and rear passengers. The rear seats can be adjusted in multiple directions, and the large trunk with a boot capacity of 611-688 liters (seats up) and 1,532 liters (seats down) greatly improves the flexibility of the storage space, which can easily accommodate daily items and travel luggage, balancing sportiness and practicality.
Interior Design
The Lotus ELETRE features a luxurious, comfortable and high-tech interior design with a strong sense of sportiness, adopting a wrap-around cockpit design that highlights the driving-centered concept. The center console is equipped with a 15.1-inch OLED floating central touch screen that folds flat when idle to preserve the minimalist design, paired with a 12.6-inch OLED instrument cluster and a head-up display that projects key information such as speed, navigation and driver assistance data onto the windshield for easy viewing. The multi-function sports steering wheel is made of Alcantara material, providing a comfortable grip, and the jewelry-grade metal controls offer a soft touch of ceramic glaze. The interior is wrapped in a large amount of soft materials, sustainable wool-blend seats and carbon fiber trim elements, with dual-color matching options including black, dark brown and light grey to enhance the sense of luxury and sportiness. The seats are made of high-quality materials, with the entry-level version featuring multi-way electric adjustment for the front seats, full-row seat heating and front seat ventilation. Higher-spec versions add front seat massage, 23-speaker KEF Premium audio with Dolby Atmos, and an intelligent panoramic glass sunroof with dimmable function. In terms of features, the standard model comes with practical functions such as keyless entry, soft-close doors, electric tailgate, front and rear parking sensors, and 360-degree panoramic camera. Higher-spec versions add advanced driver assistance systems, laser radars, and over-the-air update functions, further improving convenience and driving safety.
Powertrain
The Lotus ELETRE is built on the Electric Premium Architecture (EPA), equipped with a dual-motor four-wheel drive system as standard, and available in multiple power versions to meet different performance needs. The ELETRE and ELETRE S versions have a combined maximum power output of 450 kW (603 hp) and a peak torque of 710 Nm, with an official 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 258 km/h. The high-performance ELETRE R version is equipped with a more powerful powertrain with a dual-speed rear transmission, delivering a combined maximum power of 675 kW (905 hp) and a peak torque of 985 Nm, enabling 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 2.95 seconds and a top speed of 265 km/h. All versions are paired with a 112 kWh gross battery pack (109 kWh usable), with the basic trim offering a WLTP-rated range of 600 km and the top trim offering a WLTP-rated range of 535 km. In fast-charging mode, it can be charged from 30% to 80% quickly with a 350 kW super charging pile, effectively relieving users’ range anxiety. The vehicle is equipped with an advanced battery thermal management system, ensuring stable power output even in extreme driving conditions, and the first owner enjoys a reliable battery warranty.
