Exterior Design
The RADAR RD5 is a medium-sized new energy pickup truck, equipped with a front grille and full LED headlight groups. The vehicle is fitted with LED taillight groups and rear bumper trim. Multiple body color options are available. The vehicle adopts 17-inch and 18-inch wheel configurations for different versions. Conventional door handles are equipped as standard. Roof rails are equipped as standard.
The vehicle adopts a 4-door 5-seater pickup truck layout. The body dimensions cover 5260 mm and 5500 mm in length, 1900 mm in width, 1865 mm and 1880 mm in height, with wheelbase options of 3120 mm and 3310 mm for different versions. Electrically adjustable exterior mirrors with heating functions are equipped for different versions. Electric charging port cover and fuel tank cap are equipped for corresponding versions.
Interior Design
The vehicle is equipped with a full LCD digital instrument cluster and central control touchscreen. Multiple interior color schemes are available, matched with fabric and leather upholstery and metallic decorative trim. The vehicle supports multi-color ambient lighting and automatic constant temperature air conditioning system. An electronic gear shift lever is equipped as standard.
Standard configurations include front airbags, front and rear parking sensors and rearview camera. Keyless entry and one-key start functions are standard. High-spec versions are equipped with 540-degree panoramic camera system, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist and active braking system. The vehicle supports vehicle network connection, wireless phone charging, V2L external discharge and OTA upgrade functions. Partial versions are equipped with multi-adjustable seats and multi-speaker audio system.
Powertrain
The RADAR RD5 adopts front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive layouts. Pure electric versions are matched with single-speed fixed gear electric drive assembly, equipped with permanent magnet synchronous motors with maximum power of 180 kW and 280 kW for different versions. Plug-in hybrid versions are matched with 3-speed DHT transmission, equipped with 1.5T inline four-cylinder turbocharged hybrid engine, with a comprehensive system maximum power of 260 kW and a comprehensive peak torque of 914 Nm.
The vehicle is equipped with lithium iron phosphate and ternary lithium battery packs for different versions. The CLTC pure electric cruising range covers 310 km, 430 km, 505 km, 520 km and 605 km. Plug-in hybrid versions meet China VI emission standards. The vehicle is equipped with energy recovery system and battery constant temperature management system. Multiple driving mode adjustment functions are available. The vehicle adopts front double-wishbone independent suspension and rear leaf spring suspension system.
