Exterior Design
The Roewe eRX5 adopts the brand’s unique “Rhythmic Design” language, featuring a large spindle-shaped front grille that integrates traditional cultural elements, paired with sleek through-type headlights and distinctive LED daytime running lights, creating a strong visual impact. The rear is equipped with a full-width LED taillight group, which enhances the recognition of the vehicle at night, and a subtle rear spoiler that adds a touch of sportiness to its overall appearance. The body is available in three color options: Velvet Silver, Pearl Black, and Cloud Brocade Gray, catering to different aesthetic preferences of users.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,655 mm in length, 1,890 mm in width, and 1,664 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,765 mm. This wheelbase provides ample interior space, ensuring comfortable legroom and headroom for both front and rear passengers. The rear seats feature a flexible folding design, which not only improves the practicality of storage and seating arrangement but also expands the trunk capacity from 507L to 1,484L, meeting the needs of daily use and long-distance travel.
Interior Design
The Roewe eRX5 is equipped with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 27-inch panoramic intelligent interactive sliding screen, which can slide freely between the main and co-pilot positions, delivering an immersive visual and interactive experience. Interior color schemes include Elegant Black and Dynamic Brown, with soft leather wrapping on the center console and door panels, creating a high-end and comfortable cabin atmosphere.
In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with 19-inch wheels, front and rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, cruise control, and an intelligent air purifier that filters PM2.5 and formaldehyde. The higher-spec Premium version adds Level 2 driver-assistance systems, a 360-degree camera system, leather steering wheel, front seat heating, and a BOSE sound system, further enhancing the comfort and intelligence of the vehicle.
Powertrain
The Roewe eRX5 is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 1.5T VTGI in-cylinder direct injection turbocharged engine and a front-mounted single permanent magnet synchronous motor. The engine delivers a maximum power of 138 kW and peak torque of 300 Nm, while the motor provides a maximum power of 180 kW and peak torque of 270 Nm, with a combined system torque of 570 Nm. It is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission (AMT), with an official top speed of 200 km/h.
The vehicle comes standard with a 12.3 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack, offering an NEDC-rated pure electric range of 61 km and a comprehensive NEDC range of 1,050 km. In slow-charging mode, it takes approximately 4 hours to fully charge the battery, effectively solving the anxiety of long-distance travel and daily commuting.
