The Rox 01 adopts a tough and robust design language that inherits the brand’s family-style aesthetics, integrating off-road genes and practicality, combining mid-size SUV versatility with luxury and outdoor temperament, featuring a large-size front grille with thick black decorative borders that highlights its tough identity and creates a strong sense of power. It is equipped with sharp irregular-shaped LED headlights paired with integrated LED daytime running lights, which enhance night driving safety and have high recognition, and the front bumper is equipped with a rugged protective plate that adds a sense of off-road toughnes. The stylish LED taillights with a unique shape echo the front lights, forming a coherent and unified design language. The rear is equipped with a full-size external spare tire, a sporty roof spoiler and a layered rear bumper with a protective plate, which not only enhances the overall off-road appeal but also optimizes practicality, paired with exposed door handles, thickened wheel arches and a high ground clearance to further highlight its off-road characteristics. The vehicle comes standard with multi-spoke alloy wheels, while the higher-spec version is equipped with larger-size off-road alloy wheels, and the body is available in multiple color options including Wild Forest Green, Cloud Curtain Gray, Glacier Silver and Snow Mountain White, with straight and powerful body lines, raised wheel arches and a flat roofline, presenting a tough and sophisticated visual effect that perfectly caters to the needs of high-end users pursuing outdoor travel and off-road performance.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 5,050 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width, and 1,869 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,010 mm. Its well-proportioned mid-size SUV posture and tough body lines create a robust and practical appearance, perfectly balancing daily usability and off-road performance. It adopts a 5-door 6-seat or 7-seat layout, with a spacious and flexible interior floor that maximizes the use of space. The vehicle is equipped with a practical trunk with sufficient volume, which can place a 28-inch check-in suitcase and two 20-inch carry-on suitcases, and the maximum depth exceeds 2 meters when the second and third rows are folded, featuring a large opening and a low floor for easy loading of outdoor equipment, luggage and daily items. The reasonable storage space design throughout the vehicle includes 40 humanized storage areas, easily accommodating daily necessities, family luggage and outdoor travel items, meeting the diverse needs of daily commuting, weekend outdoor trips and long-distance family travels. The long wheelbase also ensures ample legroom and headroom for front and rear passengers, enhancing riding comfort to a great extent. It has an approach angle of 22.2 degrees, a departure angle of 25.1 degrees, a minimum ground clearance of 205 mm, and a maximum wading depth of 700 mm, with excellent off-road passability.
Interior Design
The Rox 01 features a comfortable and intelligent wrap-around cockpit design, adhering to the concept of comfort, intelligence and versatility, focusing on users’ needs for riding comfort and outdoor practicality. It is equipped with a 12.3-inch LCD instrument cluster, a 15.7-inch 3K central touchscreen, a 15.6-inch second-row LCD screen and a 9-inch streaming rearview mirror, forming an intelligent interactive design that creates an immersive technological experience and delivers a concise and user-friendly visual experience. It operates smoothly supported by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, with an AI voice assistant that supports voice control of air conditioning, navigation and multimedia functions from the first to the third row, providing convenient intelligent interaction experience. Interior color schemes include multiple themes such as Amber Orange, Sheep Fat White and Pearl Black, paired with high-quality materials, with soft wrapping materials on the center console and door panels to enhance comfort, and the higher-spec version is equipped with premium leather seats, creating a quiet, healthy and luxurious cockpit atmosphere that caters to high-end users’ preferences. It also has a reasonable interior layout, abundant storage space, a panoramic sunroof, 7 charging ports and 2 wireless charging areas, bringing a more convenient and comfortable riding experience.
In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with a leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel, ergonomic seats, automatic constant temperature air conditioning, keyless entry and start, front and rear parking sensors, and a rearview camera, as well as a 14-speaker audio system to enhance the in-car entertainment experience. The higher-spec version adds a high-definition panoramic camera, ambient light, and optional DCC electronically adaptive chassis adjustment function, supporting multiple complex driving scenarios and enhancing convenience and safety. It also has front seats with heating, ventilation and massage functions (standard for 7-seat versions), and the 6-seat version is equipped with aviation seats in the second and third rows, with a 150° backrest recline angle, 15° adjustable seat cushion and 55° adjustable leg rest, as well as three-speed ventilation, heating and 8-point airbag lumbar massage functions. The whole series is equipped with humanized configurations, and the rear compartment can be modified into a custom dining and kitchen system, with 2 external discharge interfaces (2.2kW each, totaling 4.4kW) to meet outdoor camping needs, further enhancing practicality and luxury.
Powertrain
The Rox 01 is a plug-in hybrid mid-size luxury SUV, equipped with an extended-range hybrid system consisting of a 1.5T four-cylinder generator and front and rear dual motors. The 1.5T engine has a maximum power of 112kW, mainly responsible for power generation and energy supplement, while the front and rear dual motors undertake most of the driving tasks, with a combined maximum power of 350kW and a combined peak torque of 740N·m. It is paired with an electric vehicle single-speed transmission, with smooth and responsive power output, and the official 0-100 km/h acceleration time is 5.5 seconds, presenting strong and stable performance that meets daily use and outdoor off-road needs. It is equipped with reliable brake calipers, ensuring linear braking feel and excellent braking performance, and is also equipped with multiple safety assistance technologies to enhance driving safety. It adopts a dual-motor four-wheel drive form, with excellent off-road performance and a maximum climbing angle of 45 degrees, suitable for various complex road conditions.
The vehicle is available with multiple lithium battery pack options supplied by CATL: 44.5kWh, 56.01kWh and 58.4kWh, corresponding to WLTC pure electric ranges of 180km, 235km and 252km respectively, and the CLTC pure electric range of the 44.5kWh version reaches 215km. The comprehensive cruising range can reach up to 1275km, which can fully meet daily commuting and long-distance outdoor travel needs. It supports efficient fast charging and slow charging functions to optimize the charging experience, and is equipped with a 70-liter fuel tank that uses 95-octane gasoline, with a WLTC comprehensive fuel consumption of 7.95L/100km, achieving excellent energy efficiency. It is equipped with a mature and reliable chassis and suspension system, with optimized steering tuning, achieving excellent driving stability and comfort, perfectly balancing power performance, energy efficiency and practicality, suitable for daily urban commuting, outdoor off-road and long-distance family travel scenarios.
