The Skoda Superb adopts the brand’s iconic “Crystal Cut Design” language, which draws inspiration from Bohemian crystal, featuring an elegant and sophisticated overall shape that combines German precision with luxurious temperament, suitable for both business commuting and family travel. It is equipped with a large octagonal radiator grille with a bold dark matte chrome surround, paired with new LED matrix beam headlights with crystalline design, and the centrally ridged bonnet adorned with the new Skoda logo gives the vehicle a fresh and majestic front face. The distinctive front bumper enhances the visual layering, while the sleek and fluent roof line slopes down at the rear, creating an elegant coupe-like silhouette. The iconic tornado line stretches from the front wheel arches to the rear lights, endowing the vehicle with a dynamic and athletic appeal. The rear is dominated by a large liftback tailgate and rear window, paired with very narrow LED rear lights with animated indicators and welcome effect, whose crystalline structure forms a model-specific light signature. The rear bumper with a wide diffuser and the “SKODA” lettering in dark matte chrome further highlight its flagship status. The body uses high-quality paint, available in multiple color options to cater to different aesthetic preferences of users.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,869 mm in length, 1,865 mm in width, and 1,489 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,841 mm, positioning as a mid-size flagship sedan. The reasonable wheelbase design ensures ample legroom and headroom for both front and rear passengers, providing a comfortable riding experience for 5 passengers. The rear seats support folding, which can flexibly expand the storage space; the trunk has a basic capacity of 570L, which can be expanded to 1,680L after folding the rear seats, and the liftback opening design greatly improves practicality, easily accommodating luggage, business documents and daily necessities, fully meeting the needs of business and family travel. The standard model is equipped with 16-inch aluminum alloy wheels with 215/60 R16 tires, while some high-spec models are upgraded to 19-inch wheels in various designs, enhancing both visual appeal and driving stability. It is equipped with a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument cluster and a large floating central touch screen, forming an integrated intelligent cockpit, featuring clear resolution and smooth operation, supporting Smartlink smartphone projection, intelligent voice control and online navigation functions, greatly improving the convenience of use. The steering wheel adopts a multi-spoke design, wrapped in high-quality leather with a comfortable grip, and is equipped with rich multi-function buttons to meet the operational needs of different drivers. The center console adopts a simple and elegant layout, with exquisite metal trim strips and high-quality soft materials wrapped, showing excellent craftsmanship. The interior is equipped with comfortable and spacious seats, which are made of skin-friendly leather with fine stitching, providing excellent support and wrapping. The cockpit is also equipped with multiple humanized storage compartments, including the iconic door umbrella slot and central armrest storage box, fully reflecting the brand’s “Simply Clever” design concept to meet the daily storage needs of users.
Interior color schemes are designed to cater to different users’ preferences, mainly including elegant beige,峻雅 gray and luxurious black, creating a noble and comfortable riding environment. In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, electronic parking, tire pressure monitoring, and ABS anti-lock braking system, among other practical and safety functions. The high-spec model adds a panoramic sunroof, keyless entry, one-button start, front seat heating and ventilation, and other practical configurations, further enhancing driving comfort and convenience. Both models are equipped with multiple safety systems such as ESP body electronic stability system, brake assist and collision emergency protection system, as well as a high-strength safety body, ensuring driving safety. In addition, the vehicle is also equipped with an automatic air conditioning system with air purification function, creating a comfortable riding environment.
Powertrain
The Skoda Superb is built on a reliable platform, adopting a front-mounted layout and front-wheel drive mode, mainly equipped with a 1.4T turbocharged TSI gasoline engine (displacement 1,395 mL), which is an in-line 4-cylinder 16-valve structure with an all-aluminum cylinder block and cylinder head, and a lightweight design to improve fuel efficiency and power performance. The engine has a maximum power of 110 kW and a peak torque of 250 N·m, paired with a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission, ensuring smooth shifting and responsive power output, providing a stable and comfortable driving experience suitable for both urban commuting and long-distance travel.
The vehicle has excellent fuel economy, with a WLTC comprehensive fuel consumption of 5.9 L/100km, and a constant speed fuel consumption of 5.1 L/100km at 90km/h, effectively reducing daily use costs. The official 0-100km/h acceleration time is 8.7 seconds, and the official top speed can reach 210 km/h, which can easily meet the needs of daily commuting and long-distance travel. The engine meets the National VI emission standard with an on-board diagnostic (OBD) system, with low later maintenance costs and high reliability.
