Exterior Design
The Tesla Model 3 carries forward Tesla’s iconic minimalist design language, featuring a sleek and refined front fascia with a subtle grille-less layout, paired with sharp LED headlight clusters integrated with adaptive high-low beam and dynamic turn signals, as well as a sleek full-width LED taillight strip at the rear that greatly enhances its visual recognition. The rear is equipped with a streamlined integrated rear spoiler, which not only optimizes aerodynamic efficiency but also adds a sporty touch to its overall sedan silhouette. The body is available in various color options, including Solid Black, Pearl White Multi-Coat, and Deep Blue Metallic, catering to diverse personalized preferences. The 2025 facelifted version updates the front T-badge and rear TESLA logo to an all-black design, along with an additional front bumper camera for enhanced functionality.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,720 mm in length, 1,848 mm in width, and 1,442 mm in height, with a 2,875 mm wheelbase that ensures ample interior space for passengers. Its sleek sedan profile, combined with hidden electric door handles and frameless doors, achieves an excellent drag coefficient of 0.22 Cd, effectively reducing energy consumption and wind noise during driving. The rear seats feature a 60/40 split-folding design, which enhances the flexibility of storage and seating, allowing the total storage space to reach up to 682 liters, easily accommodating luggage and large items while maintaining comfortable seating for passengers.
Interior Design
The Tesla Model 3 is equipped with a digital instrument cluster and a 16-inch QHD ultra-high-definition floating central touchscreen (upgraded from the previous 15.4-inch version), integrated with Tesla’s latest infotainment system, paired with an 8-inch touchscreen for the second row, delivering a seamless multi-screen interactive and operational experience. Interior color schemes include All Black, Deep Grey顶棚, and Alcantara-style black headliner (exclusive to high-spec versions), meeting different personalized needs of users. In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with 18-inch wheels, a full set of airbags (including far-side airbags), rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, and Tesla Autopilot, as well as practical functions like Pet Mode and Camp Mode, focusing on both safety and convenience.
The higher-spec premium versions add more advanced configurations, including enhanced Full Self-Driving (FSD) capabilities, a 360-degree camera system, and a 17-speaker premium audio system (including 15 speakers and 2 subwoofers). The interior is equipped with supportive ventilated and heated front seats, heated rear seats, paired with multi-zone climate control and a HEPA air filtration system, along with specially designed acoustic glass to create a quiet, comfortable and healthy cabin environment. It also features active noise cancellation technology, providing an immersive sound experience. The flexible seating layout can accommodate up to five adults, with a front trunk (88L) and a rear trunk offering ample storage space for daily use and long trips, and the rear trunk door supports convenient opening and closing.
Powertrain
The Tesla Model 3 is available in multiple powertrain versions, including rear-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive. The rear-wheel drive version is equipped with an AC permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power output of up to 194 kW and peak torque of 340 Nm, paired with a single-speed fixed-gear transmission, with an official top speed of 200 km/h and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds. The dual-motor all-wheel drive version combines a front AC induction motor and a rear AC permanent magnet synchronous motor, with a combined maximum power output of 331 kW and peak torque of 559 Nm, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds. The high-performance dual-motor version can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds, with a top speed of 261 km/h.
The Tesla Model 3 comes standard with a high-voltage liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery pack, adopting 4680 large cylindrical batteries with high energy density. The rear-wheel drive version offers a CLTC-rated range of up to 606 km (with 18-inch wheels), while the long-range rear-wheel drive version can reach up to 830 km (with 18-inch wheels). In fast-charging mode, the long-range versions can reach a maximum power of 250 kW, taking approximately 15 minutes to charge from 10% to 80%, while the standard-range version has a maximum fast-charging power of 170 kW, effectively reducing charging time and enhancing travel convenience for users.
