The Volkswagen ID.ERA 9X is the first model in SAIC Volkswagen’s “ID. ERA” new energy lineup and is positioned as a 6-seat range-extended SUV. The vehicle measures 5,207 mm in length, 1,997 mm in width, and 1,810 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,070 mm. It utilizes a range-extended powertrain system, featuring an EA211 1.5T engine as the range extender and a 65.2 kWh battery pack, delivering a CLTC-rated all-electric range of over 400 kilometers.

Exterior Design

The Volkswagen ID.ERA 9X adopts a large pure electric SUV body design with a closed front grille and split LED headlight sets. It is equipped with through-type LED daytime running lights, illuminated brand logo and through-type LED taillight assembly. The vehicle is fitted with hidden door handles and electric suction doors. Standard exterior configurations include active front air intake grille and 192-line lidar. Available exterior body colors include Ice White, Deep Black Metallic, Sterling Silver, Night Blue and Mountain Gray Metallic.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 5,207 mm in length, 1,997 mm in width, and 1,810 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,070 mm. The car is equipped with 20-inch low-resistance alloy wheels as standard, with optional 21-inch alloy wheels. Standard exterior configurations include automatic headlights, rear fog lamps and door welcome lights.

Interior Design

The Volkswagen ID.ERA 9X features a full LCD digital instrument cluster and a central intelligent control screen with hidden Smart Surface design. The interior adopts premium leather upholstery materials, with optional interior color schemes including all-black and black-brown dual tone. Standard configurations include front, side and curtain airbags, front and rear parking sensors, panoramic camera system, and cruise control.
Higher-spec versions are equipped with L2-level intelligent driver-assistance systems, active braking and lane keeping assist. Additional practical configurations include multi-way power-adjustable front and rear seats with heating functions, three-zone automatic climate control and interior ambient lighting. The vehicle adopts a 2+2+2 6-seat layout.

Powertrain

The Volkswagen ID.ERA 9X offers dual-motor four-wheel-drive powertrain versions, matched with a single-speed electric transmission. The front motor provides maximum power of 150 kW or 160 kW, and the rear motor provides maximum power of 220 kW. The system comprehensive maximum power includes 370 kW and 380 kW versions, with a peak torque of 660 Nm.
The vehicle is equipped with 51.1 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery packs and 65.2 kWh ternary lithium battery packs. The CLTC pure electric cruising range includes multiple versions. The vehicle supports DC fast charging and AC slow charging. The vehicle adopts front and rear double-wishbone independent suspension with optional air suspension.
