Exterior Design
The Volvo XC70 adopts a mid-size luxury SUV body design with an active air intake grille and Thor’s Hammer LED headlight sets. It is equipped with LED daytime running lights and Viking Axe LED taillight assembly. The vehicle is fitted with hidden door handles. Available exterior body colors include Crystal White Metallic, Onyx Black Metallic, Bright Silver Metallic, Denim Blue Metallic and Pine Gray Metallic.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,815 mm in length, 1,890 mm in width, and 1,650 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,895 mm. The car is equipped with 19-inch alloy wheels as standard, with optional 20-inch alloy wheels. Standard exterior configurations include automatic headlights and rear fog lamps.
Interior Design
The Volvo XC70 features a full LCD digital instrument cluster and a 15.4-inch central touchscreen. The interior adopts leather upholstery materials, with optional interior color schemes including all-black and black-brown dual tone. Standard configurations include front, side and curtain airbags, front and rear parking sensors, panoramic camera system, and adaptive cruise control.
Higher-spec versions are equipped with L2-level intelligent driver-assistance systems, active braking and lane keeping assist. Additional practical configurations include multi-way power-adjustable front seats with heating and ventilation functions, dual-zone automatic climate control and interior ambient lighting. The vehicle adopts a 5-seat layout with a 408-liter standard trunk space.
Powertrain
The Volvo XC70 is equipped with a 1.5T turbocharged plug-in hybrid powertrain, matched with a 3-speed DHT dedicated hybrid transmission. It offers front-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive layout options. The front-wheel-drive version delivers a maximum engine power of 120 kW and a comprehensive system power of 234 kW. The four-wheel-drive version delivers a comprehensive system power of 340 kW.
The vehicle is equipped with a 21.22 kWh ternary lithium battery pack. The CLTC pure electric cruising range is 116 km. The vehicle supports DC fast charging and AC slow charging. The vehicle is fitted with a 60-liter fuel tank. The WLTC comprehensive fuel consumption is 5.85 L/100km in battery-depleted condition. The vehicle adopts front double wishbone independent suspension and rear multi-link independent suspension.
