The Tang EV is a fully electric SUV manufactured by BYD. It features the EV Dragon Face design language shared with the Han EV and Yuan EV, and is available in both single-motor and dual-motor configurations. Exterior Design

The BYD Tang EV is a mid-size pure electric SUV, equipped with a closed front grille and full LED headlight groups. The vehicle is fitted with through-type LED taillight groups and rear bumper trim. Multiple body color options are available. The vehicle adopts 20-inch and 22-inch wheel configurations for different versions. Partial versions are fitted with roof-mounted lidar sensors and conventional door handles. A panoramic sunroof is equipped as standard.
The vehicle adopts 5-door 5-seater and 5-door 7-seater layout options. The body dimensions are 4870 mm in length, 1950 mm in width and 1725 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2820 mm. Electrically adjustable exterior mirrors and electric tailgate are standard configurations.

Interior Design

The vehicle is equipped with a full LCD digital instrument cluster and a rotatable central touchscreen. Multiple interior color schemes are available, matched with leather upholstery and metallic decorative trim. The vehicle supports multi-color ambient lighting and dual-zone automatic constant temperature heat pump air conditioning. An electronic gear shift lever is equipped as standard.
Standard configurations include front, side and curtain airbags, front and rear parking sensors, rearview camera and constant-speed cruise control. Keyless entry and one-key start functions are standard. High-spec versions are equipped with 360-degree panoramic camera system, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist and active braking system. The vehicle supports wireless phone charging, external vehicle discharge and OTA upgrade functions.

Powertrain

The BYD Tang EV adopts rear-wheel drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive layouts, matched with single-speed electric transmission. The low-power rear-wheel drive version has a maximum motor power of 300 kW and a peak torque of 520 Nm. The high-power rear-wheel drive version has a maximum motor power of 370 kW and a peak torque of 620 Nm. The four-wheel drive version has a system comprehensive maximum power of 585 kW and a peak torque of 980 Nm, with an electronically limited top speed of 240 km/h.
The vehicle is equipped with second-generation blade lithium iron phosphate battery packs. The CLTC comprehensive cruising range covers 600 km, 730 km, 800 km, 850 km and 950 km for different versions. The vehicle adopts a 1000V high-voltage platform, supporting DC fast charging and AC slow charging functions. The vehicle is equipped with energy recovery system and multi-link independent suspension system.
