Exterior Design
The BAW Pony adopts a lovely and compact design language exclusive to mini electric vehicles, featuring a full and rounded front fascia with a closed grille, paired with rounded rectangular headlights integrated with blue accents and dual “C”-shaped LED daytime running lights, which endow it with a playful and vivid vibe. The front is also equipped with a starry front lip that adds a touch of liveliness, perfectly catering to the aesthetic needs of young users and female consumers. The rear design is simple and neat, with symmetrical light strips that echo the front daytime running lights, enhancing the overall recognition of the vehicle. The body is available in a variety of color options to meet personalized needs, including White, Cyan, Blue, Purple, Gray and Black. In addition, some versions offer a beautiful two-color body design, making the vehicle more fashionable and distinctive.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 3,162 mm in length, 1,498 mm in width, and 1,585 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,050 mm. Compared with other mini electric vehicles in the same class, it has a longer wheelbase and body length, which effectively expands the interior space. The body adopts a 3-door structure, and the rear seats can be fully folded down, which not only improves the flexibility of seating and storage but also expands the cargo space, making it more practical for daily commuting and small-item transportation.
Interior Design
The BAW Pony is equipped with a class-exclusive dual 10.25-inch integrated smart display, including a digital instrument cluster and a central touchscreen, which features high screen clarity and a smooth operating system, supporting mobile connectivity, navigation, voice interaction, radio and Bluetooth functions, delivering an excellent visual and intelligent experience. The interior design is simple and fresh, with ergonomic seats and a dual-spoke multifunction steering wheel, paired with a knob-style electronic gear shift, making the driving experience more comfortable and convenient. Interior color schemes are fresh and diverse, matching the exterior colors to cater to different personalized preferences of users.
In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with practical configurations such as 13-inch tires, electric power steering, central lock, electric windows, air conditioning, front and rear parking sensors, and a rearview camera, meeting daily driving needs. The higher-spec luxury version adds a 360-degree panoramic camera system, dual 10.25-inch integrated display, electric rear-view mirror adjustment, and driver airbag, further improving driving safety and convenience. In addition, it is also equipped with multiple electronic safety systems including ABS, EBD, EPS, HAC and BOS brake priority system, helping to reduce and avoid accidents.
Powertrain
The BAW Pony is equipped with a rear-mounted single electric motor, available in different power versions with maximum power outputs of 20 kW and 25 kW, and peak torque of 85 Nm and 110 Nm respectively. It is paired with a single-speed automatic transmission and adopts a rear-wheel drive mode, with an official top speed of up to 100 km/h, which is sufficient for daily urban commuting. The vehicle is equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery pack with multiple capacity options: 9.6 kWh, 13.7 kWh and 17.28 kWh, offering CLTC-rated ranges of 120 km, 170 km and 220 km respectively to meet different travel needs of users. It comes standard with an on-board charger and supports 220V household charging, making charging convenient and accessible for daily use.
