The Changan Benben E-Star shares the same family design language as other Changan new energy models, featuring a concise and dynamic front fascia with a pure electric vehicle-specific closed grille, which is decorated with a honeycomb-like pattern and a bright black decorative strip on the top to highlight its pure electric identity. It is paired with sharp shark-eye LED headlights with smoked treatment, and the distinctive linear daytime running lights add a sense of vitality and recognition. The rear is equipped with a small-sized rear spoiler, enhancing its sporty appearance, while the leaf-shaped taillights with halogen light sources echo the front headlights, forming a consistent and lively overall style. The body is available in three fashionable color options: Crystal White, Sky Blue, and Fashionable Green, catering to the personalized needs of young commuting users.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 3,770 mm in length, 1,650 mm in width, and 1,570 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,410 mm, positioning it as a mini electric car with practical interior space. The interior headroom of the front and rear seats is comfortable for daily use, and the rear door can be opened at an angle close to 90 degrees, providing convenient access for passengers. It adopts a 5-door 5-seat hatchback body structure, with smooth and simple body lines that abandon complicated decorations, showing a fresh and dynamic visual effect. The 15-inch five-spoke alloy wheels not only enhance the sense of refinement but also match the overall style of the vehicle, while the three-section front bumper with vertical decorative air guide grooves further enhances the vehicle’s layering.
Interior Design
The Changan Benben E-Star features a simple, fashionable and technologically advanced interior design, adopting a driver-oriented cockpit layout that ensures convenient operation for the driver. It is equipped with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch integrated floating central touchscreen, forming a dual-screen design that delivers a clear and intuitive visual experience and greatly enhances the sense of technology inside the car. Interior color schemes include Blue, Pink, and Green, catering to different personalized preferences of young users. The interior is adorned with hard materials with fine craftsmanship, matched with bright color trim strips, which not only conforms to its entry-level positioning but also enhances the interior vitality and sense of refinement.
In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with practical configurations such as a three-spoke steering wheel, fabric seats, manual air conditioning, rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, and cruise control, meeting daily commuting needs. The higher-spec version adds practical functions including an intelligent voice control system, 4G remote control, and tire pressure monitoring. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with a “Yuelian” intelligent interconnection system that can easily realize operations such as navigation, music playback, and charging pile search through voice commands, bringing a more convenient driving experience. The rear seats support 40/60 split-folding, which improves storage flexibility and meets diverse usage needs such as loading small items.

The Changan Benben E-Star comes standard with a Guoxuan High-Tech lithium iron phosphate battery pack with a capacity of 30.95 kWh, offering NEDC-rated ranges of 301 km and 310 km respectively.
In fast-charging mode, it takes approximately 0.55 hours (33 minutes) to charge from 30% to 80%, effectively alleviating range anxiety for daily use. The battery pack is covered by an 8-year or 120,000-kilometer warranty, providing users with peace of mind. The vehicle adopts a front-wheel-drive layout and undergoes professional chassis tuning, with MacPherson independent front suspension and trailing arm torsion beam non-independent rear suspension, ensuring excellent handling performance and driving stability, making it suitable for daily urban commuting and short-distance travel.
