Exterior Design
The IM LS6 adopts the “Urban Style Aesthetics” design language, featuring a dynamic and sleek mid-size intelligent SUV silhouette that perfectly balances sporty aesthetics, practicality and modern technology, built on an advanced platform with 800V architecture as standard. Its front fascia is highlighted by a fully closed grille with a rounded nose and integrated design, seamlessly integrated with distinctive T-shaped full-LED headlight groups with rich light structures, including curved light strips, four lamp beads, vertical headlights and vertical light strips, creating a sharp and high-recognizable visual impact. A 520-line super lidar is mounted above the front windshield, paired with front millimeter-wave radar and side cameras, providing hardware support for high-level intelligent driving while optimizing the overall aerodynamic coefficient. The front bumper is designed with a larger trapezoidal air intake decorated with horizontal lines, further enhancing its dynamic and tough demeanor. The body side features a溜背 coupe-SUV shape with a strong crossover style, paired with pop-up hidden door handles and frameless doors; the black-painted B/C pillars and black trim below the doors add a sense of hierarchy, while optional 21-inch two-color petal-shaped alloy wheels with Pirelli Scorpion tires and orange brake calipers enhance the fashionable atmosphere. The rear is equipped with an interactive through-type LED taillight group with a curved light strip and intelligent light language system, paired with a streamlined rear spoiler and a sleek rear bumper with diffuser and spoiler elements, with the license plate mounted in the center of the rear bumper, further enhancing the sense of technology and sportiness. The body is available in six fashionable color options, including Nevis Blue, Ge Ya Black, Matisse Red, Raphael Tea, Turner Silver and Athena White, catering to the aesthetic preferences of high-end urban users and young consumers.
In terms of dimensions, the pure electric version measures 4,937 mm in length, 1,988 mm in width, and 1,671 mm in height, while the extended-range version has a height of 1,673 mm, with both versions sharing a wheelbase of 2,960 mm, providing an extremely spacious interior layout with a nearly 90% space utilization rate. This body size ensures ample headroom and legroom for both front and rear passengers, delivering a comfortable riding experience suitable for daily commuting and long-distance family travel. The vehicle adopts a 5-door 5-seat SUV layout, with flexible trunk capacity that can easily accommodate daily items, travel luggage and outdoor equipment. It also features humanized exterior configurations such as power-folding side mirrors with heating function, a panoramic sunroof, and a power liftgate; the urban travel shining package is optional, including 21-inch wheels, Pirelli tires and exclusive high-gloss real aluminum side window trim, further enhancing convenience and modern technological sense, making it suitable for both daily urban commuting and cross-city travel. The vehicle’s aerodynamic performance is fully optimized through streamlined body design and hidden door handles, effectively reducing energy consumption.
Interior Design
The IM LS6 boasts a luxurious and intelligent interior that combines high-end materials with humanized design, featuring a clean and elegant layout with a strong sense of technology and comfort, and each seat is designed to be a “large sofa” for optimal comfort. The dashboard, door panels and center console are covered with high-quality soft-touch materials, along with delicate stitching details, “Floating Light and Golden” process trim panels and chrome decorations, highlighting its premium and comfortable attributes. The center console adopts a simple and functional layout, canceling the liftable integrated three-screen design of the previous model and replacing it with a 27.1-inch 5K MiniLED suspended dual-screen combination (driver screen and central control screen), plus a 15.6-inch embedded 3K co-pilot entertainment screen, forming a complete multimedia ecosystem that provides clear driving information and seamless operation experience. A row of piano-key physical buttons is added below the central control screen, and the center armrest is adjusted to a conventional bridge saddle type with a wireless charging panel and cup holders, greatly improving practicality. The interior is equipped with the IM AIOS intelligent cockpit system, supporting multi-zone natural voice interaction, mobile phone connection, wireless OTA upgrades and intelligent scene services, providing a safe and convenient human-computer interaction experience. It also offers optional half-width and full-width steering wheels to meet consumers’ personalized needs. Interior color schemes include light and dark options, focusing on comfort and practicality to meet different personalized preferences. The whole vehicle is equipped with multiple intelligent storage solutions, fully meeting the storage needs of daily use.
In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with alloy wheels, multiple airbags, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree panoramic camera, automatic air conditioning, tire pressure monitoring, proximity key entry with push-button start, high-power USB charge ports, double-layer sound-insulating glass, active noise reduction device, and the IM AD 3.0 intelligent driving assistance system (equipped with 520-line super lidar and NVIDIA Thor chip), supporting mapless urban NOA nationwide and one-click AI valet parking function, among other practical and safety functions. The driver’s seat is equipped with a bagel pressure relief seat with three adjustable cushion hardness modes; the co-pilot seat supports one-click switching between 121-degree zero-gravity mode, co-pilot folding mode and noble chair mode, with a retractable footrest. The front and rear four seats are equipped with ventilation, heating and massage functions as standard, with multiple massage modes and intensity adjustments; the rear seats support electric backrest angle adjustment, further improving riding comfort. The higher-spec models add more premium configurations, including air suspension, rear seat ventilation/massage, cold and warm refrigerator, further enhancing comfort and safety for driving. The vehicle also adopts excellent NVH noise reduction design, creating a quiet riding environment, while the refined interior trim enhances the overall driving and riding experience.
Powertrain
The IM LS6 offers both pure electric and extended-range powertrain options to meet different performance and endurance needs, paired with an electric vehicle single-speed transmission, and 800V SiC platform as standard. The pure electric version provides single-motor and dual-motor options: the single-motor version delivers a maximum power output of 245 kW, paired with a 76 kWh battery pack; the dual-motor version has a combined maximum power of 500 kW and a peak torque of 800 Nm, paired with a 103 kWh battery pack, achieving a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of only 3.48 seconds. The extended-range version is equipped with the “Stellar” super extended-range system, consisting of a 1.5T efficient engine (maximum power 114 kW) and a drive motor (maximum power 230 kW), paired with 52.1 kWh and 65.9 kWh battery packs respectively. All powertrain control programs are optimized to adapt to various driving scenarios, delivering a smooth and responsive driving experience.
The vehicle is available in rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive layouts, with excellent endurance performance: the pure electric version has CLTC pure electric ranges of 650 km and 802 km depending on the battery capacity; the extended-range version has CLTC pure electric ranges of 370 km and 450 km, with a comprehensive CLTC range of over 1500 km, completely solving range anxiety. It supports ultra-fast charging, which can supplement 310 km of range in 15 minutes, and the peak charging power of the extended-range version can reach 268 kW. The vehicle is equipped with the Lizard Digital Chassis 2.0 system, paired with front double-wishbone and rear multi-link suspension, new German Continental MKC2 wire-controlled braking system, Lizard tire blowout stability control system and new active anti-rollover 2.0, supporting intelligent four-wheel steering, reducing the minimum turning radius to 4.79 meters, greatly improving driving flexibility. It also features 4-wheel disc brakes with anti-lock braking system (ABS) and electronic parking brake (EPB) with auto hold, ensuring safe and reliable driving performance, making it suitable for both daily urban commuting and long-distance travel.
