Exterior Design
The Skyworth HT-i adopts the brand’s distinctive “Gravitational Wave” design language, featuring a sleek and powerful overall shape that combines futuristic sense with practicality, perfectly blending the dynamism of an SUV with elegant lines, suitable for urban commuting, family travel and business use. It is equipped with a borderless grille with a dot-matrix internal decoration, paired with smoked LED headlights integrated with daytime running lights, forming a highly recognizable front face. The vertical air guide grooves on both sides of the grille are decorated with chrome strips, which not only enhance the visual layering but also optimize aerodynamic performance. The front is adorned with the “SKYWORTH” brand emblem, highlighting the brand identity and adding a touch of sophistication. The through-type waistline extends from the front fender to the rear taillights, complemented by a sloping roof, raised wheel arches and muscular side skirts, enhancing the vehicle’s sense of power and layering. The rear is equipped with a through-type smoked LED taillight that echoes the front design, paired with a trapezoidal concave license plate frame and a thick silver anti-scratch plate at the bottom, further highlighting the SUV’s tough temperament. The body uses high-quality paint, available in multiple color options to cater to different aesthetic preferences of users.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,720 mm in length, 1,908 mm in width, and 1,701 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,800 mm, positioning as a mid-size SUV. The reasonable wheelbase design ensures ample legroom and headroom for both front and rear passengers, providing a comfortable riding experience for 5 passengers. The rear seats support split-folding and backrest angle adjustment, which can flexibly expand the storage space; the trunk has a spacious basic capacity, which can be further expanded after folding the rear seats, easily accommodating luggage, daily necessities and outdoor equipment, fully meeting the needs of daily use and long-distance travel. The standard model is equipped with stylish five-spoke blade-shaped aluminum alloy wheels, while some high-spec models are upgraded to larger-sized wheels, enhancing both visual appeal and driving stability. It is also equipped with roof racks, electric adjustable exterior mirrors integrated with turn signals and rear wipers, optimizing both practicality and overall aesthetics.
Interior Design
The Skyworth HT-i adopts an interior design centered on comfort and technology, with a wrap-around cockpit layout that creates a warm and sophisticated driving atmosphere, highlighting a sense of grade with wood grain decorative panels and chrome trim. It is equipped with a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument cluster and a 12.8-inch or 15.6-inch floating central touch screen, forming an integrated intelligent cockpit, featuring clear resolution and smooth operation, supporting OTA upgrade, vehicle networking, smartphone connection and intelligent voice control functions, greatly improving the convenience of use. The steering wheel adopts a three-spoke multi-function design, wrapped in high-quality leather with a comfortable grip, and is equipped with rich multi-function buttons to meet the operational needs of different drivers. The center console adopts a layered design, covered with soft materials and matte metal trim, showing excellent craftsmanship. The interior is equipped with comfortable seats, standard with high-quality materials, and high-spec models offer seat heating and ventilation functions, providing good support and wrapping. The cockpit is also equipped with multiple humanized storage compartments, including door bottle holders, central armrest storage boxes and cup holders, fully meeting the daily storage needs of users.
Interior color schemes are designed to cater to different users’ preferences, mainly including all-black interior and two-tone interior options, creating a comfortable and high-grade riding environment. In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with tire pressure monitoring, rear parking sensors, reverse image, electronic parking, uphill assist, keyless entry, one-button start, automatic LED headlights, automatic wipers, electric adjustment for the main driver’s seat, rear seat split-folding and automatic air conditioning with rear air outlets, among other practical and safety functions. The high-spec model adds a panoramic sunroof, 360° panoramic image, 256-color ambient lighting, vehicle air purifier and Level 2 driver-assistance systems, further enhancing driving comfort and safety. Both models are equipped with multiple safety systems such as electronic stability control, brake assist and airbags, as well as a 16-ring high-strength safety body, ensuring driving safety. In addition, the vehicle is also equipped with front multi-layer sound insulation glass, creating a quiet riding environment.
Powertrain
The Skyworth HT-i is a plug-in hybrid vehicle built on a reliable platform, adopting a front-mounted layout and front-wheel drive mode, equipped with a 1.5TGDI high-efficiency hybrid-specific turbocharged engine and a permanent magnet synchronous motor, forming an advanced hybrid system jointly developed with Fudi Power. The 1.5TGDI engine has a displacement of 1.5L, a maximum power of 115 kW and a peak torque of 250 N·m, adopting a high compression ratio of 15.5:1, Atkinson cycle and EGR exhaust gas recirculation system, achieving a high thermal efficiency of 43.04%. The electric motor has a maximum power of 160 kW and a peak torque of 330 N·m, paired with a DHT hybrid-specific transmission, ensuring smooth power output and responsive acceleration, and supporting four driving modes: EV mode, HEV series mode, HEV parallel mode and direct drive mode.
The vehicle is equipped with a 32.76 kWh battery pack, offering a CLTC-rated pure electric range of 205 km and a comprehensive range of up to 1,267 km when fully fueled and charged, effectively alleviating range anxiety. It supports both AC slow charging and DC fast charging, meeting the needs of daily commuting and long-distance travel. The vehicle has excellent fuel economy, with ultra-low comprehensive fuel consumption, effectively reducing daily use costs. It is equipped with an intelligent battery thermal management system, ensuring stable battery performance in various environments. The vehicle is matched with a front MacPherson independent suspension and a rear multi-link independent suspension, which has been carefully adjusted to ensure driving stability and comfort in various road conditions. The brake system adopts front ventilated disc brakes, providing reliable braking performance, and the maximum speed can reach 170 km/h, easily meeting the needs of different travel scenarios.
