Exterior Design
The Chery Tiggo 3X shares the same “Life in Motion” family design language as other Chery models currently on the market, featuring a distinctive front fascia with a polygonal “Galaxy Dot Matrix Grille” that matches the split headlights decorated with black trim, and slender “Wing of Inspiration” daytime running lights, which enhance the vehicle’s sense of fashion and recognition. The rear is equipped with a sleek rear spoiler and a through-type taillight design, which is highly recognizable when lit, paired with a sporty dual-exhaust layout to further highlight its dynamic temperament. The body is available in four color options: Narcissus White, Jade Hairpin Gray, Sa Shuang Blue, and Cottonwood Red, catering to the aesthetic needs of young consumers and different consumer groups.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,200 mm in length, 1,760 mm in width, and 1,570 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,555 mm for all versions. The 2,555 mm wheelbase ensures sufficient interior space for front and rear passengers, effectively reducing the sense of crampedness in small SUVs; the rear seats feature an integral folding design, which not only increases flexibility for storage and seating but also expands the trunk space to 1100L, meeting daily loading and short-distance travel needs. The side of the body is equipped with wide wheel arches and stylish 16-inch black aluminum alloy wheels, which can prevent body scratches and further enhance its sporty and tough temperament.
Interior Design
The Chery Tiggo 3X is equipped with a 3.5-inch LCD instrument cluster (7-inch LCD instrument for mid-to-high configuration models) and a 9-inch floating central touchscreen, delivering a practical visual and interactive experience. Interior color schemes include Black, Black+Orange, and Gray+Blue (for top-of-the-line models), catering to personalized preferences—Black for a classic and durable vibe, Black+Orange for a dynamic and fashionable atmosphere, and Gray+Blue for a refined and fresh look. The center console adopts a layered design, with physical knobs for air conditioning control, ensuring convenient operation during driving and enhancing the practicality of the interior.
In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with 16-inch aluminum alloy wheels, front dual airbags, rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, and power-adjustable exterior mirrors, among other practical functions. The higher-spec models add front seat heating, panoramic sunroof, one-button start, and a 4-speaker audio system, as well as mobile phone interconnection (CarPlay/CarLife) function integrated in the central control screen, further enhancing driving comfort and convenience. In terms of materials, entry-level models are equipped with fabric seats and leather-wrapped steering wheels to balance cost and comfort, while mid-to-high configuration models are upgraded to imitation leather seats with orange stitching, and the center console is made of soft搪塑 material, effectively reducing the plastic feel and improving the overall interior texture.
Powertrain
The Chery Tiggo 3X is fully equipped with a 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine (model SQRE4G15C), which relies on the technical accumulation of Chery’s ACTECO series, with a maximum power output of 85 kW (116 Ps) and peak torque of 143 Nm. It is mated to either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 9-speed simulated CVT transmission, forming a power combination that is both mature, reliable and cost-effective. The WLTC comprehensive fuel consumption of the manual transmission version is approximately 7.22 L per 100 km, and that of the CVT version is 7.34 L per 100 km. It only needs 92# gasoline, which balances power performance and fuel economy, making it suitable for daily commuting and short-distance family travel.
In addition, the Chery Tiggo 3X is equipped with professional chassis tuning, featuring front-wheel drive, which enables precise steering, comfortable riding, and stable driving with anti-rolling capability. It also adopts practical sound insulation materials to effectively isolate and absorb internal and external noise, improving the overall driving comfort. The CVT version supports dual-mode switching of economy/sports, with gentle throttle response in economy mode to reduce fuel consumption, and more direct power output in sports mode to enhance driving pleasure. The official top speed reaches 170 km/h, providing sufficient power reserve for highway driving.
