Exterior Design
The Baojun Xiangjing EV adopts the “Wind-Chasing Aesthetics” design concept, which is consistent with its positioning as a mid-size pure electric sedan tailored for family and business travel. It features a sleek front fascia with a closed grille design that highlights its pure electric identity, paired with an active grille that can automatically adjust its opening and closing according to driving conditions to optimize aerodynamics. It is equipped with sharp “7”-shaped LED headlights that integrate low beams, high beams and daytime running lights, forming a clear “7” outline when lit with high recognition. A chrome trim strip is added under the front bumper to enhance the texture of the front face. The side of the body adopts a 2.5-meter long design, creating a highly dynamic body contour, and achieving an ultra-low drag coefficient of 0.198Cd through 19 low-drag optimizations. It is equipped with hidden door handles with ice-breaking function, which can break 6mm ice layers, and optional 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels with 235/45 R19 tires, further highlighting the vehicle’s sportiness. The rear is equipped with through-type LED taillights that echo the front headlights, with dual light line design on both sides, and a slightly upturned ducktail spoiler and chrome trim on the rear bumper, creating a sense of layering. The body is available in multiple color options to cater to diverse personalized aesthetic needs.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 5,005 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width, and 1,490 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,900 mm. It adopts a 5-door 5-seat hatchback structure, which provides ample interior space. For a passenger with a height of 180cm, there is more than one punch of head space in the front row and more than two punches of leg space in the rear row. The rear floor is basically flat, which improves the comfort of the middle passenger. The trunk has a basic volume of 476 liters, which can accommodate up to 6 20-inch suitcases. The rear seats feature a 40/60 split-folding design, which can be fully laid flat to form a large and flat space, easily meeting the needs of daily use, family travel and transporting large items.
Interior Design
The Baojun Xiangjing EV is equipped with an 8.8-inch full LCD instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch floating central touchscreen, forming a fashionable and intelligent human-computer interaction interface. The LCD instrument clearly displays key vehicle information such as vehicle speed, power and cruising range, while the 15.6-inch floating central touchscreen has a clear and delicate display effect and smooth operation, integrating rich functions such as multimedia entertainment, vehicle settings and navigation. It is integrated with the Lingyu cockpit system, supporting fast-response intelligent voice interaction to control air conditioning, music and navigation, bringing a convenient operational experience. The interior adopts a simple and practical style, with a large area of soft wrapping materials and Nappa leather seats, which are soft and comfortable with good wrapping and support. The interior is made of environmentally friendly low-odor materials with PM2.5 filtering function, ensuring a healthy and comfortable in-car environment.
In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with LED headlights, automatic air conditioning, electronic parking brake, keyless entry, keyless start, front and rear parking sensors, reverse camera, ESC, front dual airbags, and a multi-speaker audio system, among other practical functions. The higher-spec models add Level 2 intelligent driving assistance systems, full-speed adaptive cruise, lane keeping assistance, automatic emergency braking, as well as front and rear seat ventilation and heating, ambient lights, and intelligent driving systems with upgraded chip computing power, bringing a more convenient, comfortable and safe driving experience.
Powertrain
The Baojun Xiangjing EV is equipped with a rear-mounted single permanent magnet synchronous electric motor, adopting the Lingxi Power 4.0 system and a ten-in-one electric drive system with a maximum mechanical speed of 27,258 rpm. It delivers a maximum power output of 186 kW and peak torque of 310 Nm, with a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 6.9 seconds. It is paired with a single-speed electric transmission, with an official top speed of 170 km/h. The Baojun Xiangjing EV is equipped with a 69.2 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack adopting CTP 3.0 Kirin battery technology, offering a CLTC-rated pure electric range of 600 km. It supports 2C fast charging; in fast-charging mode, it takes approximately 20 minutes to supplement 300 km of range, and it also supports standard AC slow charging, ensuring convenient daily urban use and long-distance travel. The vehicle also has stable low-temperature performance, with a range achievement rate of more than 62% at -7℃.
